I'm a Flamengo fan from Rio de Janeiro reading Raphael Honigstein's book about Klopp. The description about this farewell was so meaninful that made me search for footage. What a great man and coach. Who knows... maybe one day he can come down and coach the Libertadores reigning champion. SRN!! Bis später!
*Start is cut off but he is referring to how he can only remember some years of his life vividly* "But the last 18 years I've got completely present. And I spent all of them here, you got to imagine that. So .... Everything I am; Everything I can *Starts crying* *Crowd frantically initiates the signature 'JÜÜÜRGEN' chant* "You have let me become.. Everything! I erm...was given the opportunity to practice my dream job here by Christian Heidel and Harald Strutz. I've received support from Axel Schuster and others which you can't imagine. I got... *starts crying again while crowd starts applauding again* "I had a president in Harald Strutz who was a friend before I knew it. He wanted to sign me one year prior to when they did. I've got to meet someone in Peter Ahrens, who opens every buffeet as if it was the first. *Crowd laughs, starts clapping* I've got to meet another member of the board in Jürgen Dutz, which is the young man back there, who told me as far as 1992 :' If you realise it's not working anymore, if they all realise you can't play football, go to television' "And I really didn't think it was possible, it was like DSDS (a casting show) *Crowd laughs* "Erm...I've really experienced so unbeleivably many things here.. I spent 13 years with Dimo (Dimo Wache - legendary Mainz goalie) - Not all of them were pretty...Not all days I mean but many many were. We experienced stories together which couldn't be published, I couldn't tell them here. But Reinhardt Rehberg and Jörg Schneider said they want wo write a book one day and then you can read it there. But it does already have a positive effect, we will make 'Thank you Kloppo' Shirts and put it all on there. Erm..I seem to have enough composure for the moment... That I will never forget you, you know that hopefully?! *starts crying again, crowd applaudes* "It would be best if we meet again tomorrow, shout 'thank you' and call out specific names. It will be a little bit difficult but I hope, that no one is feeling not meant tonight and that I reach every single one of you. Everybody is meant. I wouldn't have thought that anything could bug me on this day, but I had to get annoyed this very morning, when I read one of Mainzs daily newspapers, where comments where published which bad-mouthed or doubted the new Mainz 05 coach....Thats when I thought: 'This newspaper, I didn't only have arguments with them, but to have nothing better to do than to publish some douchebags comments, in a situation that is very difficult for the club, won't get an interview'. *Crowd frantically starts cheering* "The club could have gotten whoever they wanted, if they'd gotten Ottmar Hitzfeld the headline would have been:' Oh he doesn't have the fire anymore'... So...anything, Otto Rehagel, Jürgen Klinsmann, whatever, there would have always been people who said something against it. But if we didn' learn the last 18 years, that all we do here, can only function if really everybody agrees; when this huge heart this town has is regularely grabbed with both hands by everybody, going up there in the stadium or watching at home on Tv really getting invested, cheering and living with this club; then really be able to reach everything, If we didn't learn this here, then I REALLY don't know... *Applause* "Jørn Andersen (new coach) is a friend of mine... Which doesn't mean that he's a good coach.... But in this case he is... And.. I going to call him..Tell him something about you and hes already looking forward and he will be even more excited; You got a really good man on the hand there. And.... I told the boys before.. I will be here often, but I will be here next year for sure. There will be other people up here, I will be up there, enjoying the 17th Kirner (regional beer) and we'll celebrate the promotion. I wish you the greatest, with all my heart. Thank you so very much *JÜRGEN chant ensues*

Irishman here in Germany, Kloppo as S man is a necessity in football, whom I appreciate more as he came up with Mainz and lives for the game like no other
Klopp ist doch wohl der geilste!!! Da wirste Be...Kloppt!!;-) Ich glaube, er wird das beste, was Dortmund jemals passieren wird. BvB 09 mein Verein mit Jürgen Klopp. Klasse....Daumen hoch.
