Monty Williams lucked out so hard. He had a great roster and happened to be in the right place at the right time and has been making a living off of it ever since.

As a lifelong pistons fan I just want to win. This city and fan base is starving! Don’t care about what our identity is quite frankly. This just has gotten way out of hand these PAST 20 YEARS!! Only 8 franchises have won three or more championships and we are one of them. Just get us back to competing in the playoffs JB. Cade is a awesome building block now let’s get shooting around him

They could more than double their win total & still finish 20+ games under .500. JB is a good coach with a decent track record, but man this a big job.
Monty came for the bag and got what he wanted. As a lifelong Michigan resident and Pistons fan, I am looking forward to this season. If we win 35 to 40 games, I'm good.
I still have yet to hear a journalist ask J.B. about choosing to bench the starters and run third-stringers at the end of the Cavaliers season finale against Charlotte (besides the postgame interviews). They basically threw the game to get better playoff position, and to avoid a first round matchup with Miami & Philly in the playoffs. Max Strus and some of the other vets were visibly upset with the decision. Is that the reason he was ultimately fired by Cleveland? Did he lose the locker room? I wonder if he even had a choice in the matter or if the decision came from the front office..??
Pistons Have a solid young core, just need to keep improving on chemistry, Holland was a great pick, Pistons are slowly loading up on young Talent. More wins will come, and some playoff appearances. Give em Time.
Hope the best for JB like the move not too sure on the Tobias deal and Malik Beasley for the simple fact we had Bogey and Joe Harris. I hoping JB use all 12 of his players. Couldn’t understand why Monty wouldn’t play Joe Harris and certain others. I really like the young core of players. They do need to get rid of Beef Stew
When the Pistons give control to and put the keys to the car in the hands of Jaden Ivey is when they'll be a competent competitor. Jaden is begging for All Stardom, and he has tangible capabilities. Cade and Tobias should fall back to 2 & 3 and focus more on setting Jaden up for an All-Star worthy year this season.

Remember, they really don’t have much talent on that roster… when CLE won 42 games under him Garland/Allen were all-stars, and Mobley was runner up for ROTY. Who are those caliber players on Detroit? Duran?? Cade? I dunno man, I don’t see it. Yall got 1-3 more yrs of being terrible depending on how they draft.

His turnovers are actually perfectly normal. He's at 3.4 turnovers. For reference Luka was at 4.3 in years 2 and 3 with a similar load Early in the season when Cade's turnovers when really high (5+) was more about the lineups and offense than Cade. Not even Kyrie can consistently dribble into triple teams and not turn the ball over
So JB just basically said that the professional basketball team called the Detroit Pistons just put together a YMCA coaching staff in the best professional basketball league in the world. Pistons fans will love him until the team is ready to compete for more than a play-in spot. JB is an amazing person but has horrible rotations and plays
they will be trash. they still have almost no shooting, and all their bigs are just paint players who can't pass or shoot. if you include ausur and holland (great all around players), they're going to have 3 non shooters on the floor at all times. that's gonna be the easiest roster to guard in the entire league
You clearly don’t watch Pistons basketball moves They recently added shooting recently Tim Hardaway Jr., Malik Beasley, Tobias Harris, Paul Reed, & Cade, Duren & Ivy, Sasser, Simone Fontecchio you sound like a hater homie be quiet with all that weak hate and they are talking about bringing back Marcus Morris if possible!
