I’m deeply saddened to hear about the passing of the incredibly talented singer from the sample Sara Tavares last night. Her soulful voice and heartfelt melodies touched many lives, and this song serves as a beautiful testament to her legacy. May her music continue to inspire and uplift us as we remember her. Rest in peace.
Nobody wrote this yet, but for those of you who don't know, the sampled singer is Sarah Tavares, one of the most beautiful voices that music had/has. And she died today ❤. RIP to the most beautiful voice I've ever listened to.
I played this song while one of my freinds was around one day. she was young and beautiful , but she was headed down a bad path. she said i played the song for her and completely turned her life around honestly i did nothing it was all you cole your words truly hit her that day and i always listen to this song even 11 years later.
His work is just unbelievable. Don't slip, don't fall, don't lose your balance... I can't even explain in words how your music moves me, kill 'em J. Cole
We are kinda of conected together, some peoples may have live the same life in the same situation as another peaple in different time its becouse we are HUMAN we all are the same ;) haha its a fact
Brian Teo dude first off this was a year ago, to say kendrick wasn't as good if not better than cole would be a lie. Cole is by far my favorite artist. Comments on something a year after and tries to still be relevant towards the discussion. ok brian.
Sometimes it's nice to go back and revisit all of Cole's old tunes, to see how amazing he was back then and still how much further he's progressed since. He's an artist, a poet and every song is an important message in life.
This my first time listening though. Creating a time portal. A rift that I can rely on and I know that I won't be here long. Looking forward to looking back.
+YoungD3mon314 Bro those rappers in the list would slap you up for saying they're better than Pac. Game started crying in an interview because he didn't get the chance to rap with Pac. Eminem said it was pac that gave him the courage and belief to rap.
Woaah i finally found it !! i used to listen to this song in the 8th grade and i"ve been trying remember its title but i couldn"t , thank you RU-vid , crying and sliding down the wall rn (im in uni for context)
How come I been a fan of Cole since 09 I never heard this joint?!!!! Holy shit I’m surprised, this sample is from Sara Tavares she is a Cape Verdean singer, name of the song is Balancé. Made me love this guy even more no homo! 💪
For those who have known and for those who have forgotten but found their way back (me), keep your head up always.💪 To those who are only finding these pieces of art now.. I’m just Glad you all could make it, and welcome to Cole World.😌 LLDVille 🙏🏻🐐
"Don't raise your voice raise your words, it's not the thunder, it's the rain that grows nature"-rumi, one of the reasons cole is better than Kendrick doesn't scream but gets his message across in a deep way
who THE HELL are you to say J.Cole is better than Kendrick? LOL Bruh.. I can name one song by Kendrick that FUCKS J.Coles who Born Sinner album up. No doubt J.Cole is an Amazing artist.. and I love his positive outlook on life while still touching on reality, but you cant even compare or let alone say he is better than Kendrick because it is just an opinion.
Gaias Sky well he is better and if its just an opinion than he can say he's better who the fuck are you to tell someone they cant say someone is better than the other? fuck outta here
"one of the reasons cole is better than Kendrick doesn't scream but gets his message across in a deep way" vanity slaves, heaven & hell, faith, keisha song, kush & corinthians, sing about me/i'm dying of thirst, hiiipower and a ton of other songs i've heard from kendrick and i still don't get your point. kendrick's lyrics are actually deeper than cole's and he doesn't even sound agressive on these songs i've mentioned. plus, one of the reasons one might use when stating kendrick is better than cole is that cole's not as versatile when it comes to delivery.
This man will forever be the greatest IMO. Then Big Sean then Drake. The order of 2 and 3 switches around for me but those are the big 3 and Cole at the top.
@@cheyw8149 it's always nice to pay tribute to originals never forget what made something or someone what they are today !!! Just my two cents that you probably didn't want anyways
you know this song is originally from portuguese musician Sara Tavares.. The song is called 'Balancê'. He didn't wrote it in 15 mins, the lyrics maybe, but not the song. Check it up
He is just the best to ever do it ❤a God given talent came to this planet to serve a purpose through rap. I dance to the music that soothes my soul😢j cole.... Arg man! He's just good.
J Cole has a way of making rap sound like it used to, a very odd and great talent to have. One of the only Hollywood rappers who didn't change after fame.
Music is amazing. I’m only just recently discovering this song along with coles older stuff and this has been here for over a decade for others who have grown up listening to this.
She is not Portuguese. Let's get it correct people. Give props to who what Sara Tavares really is. She is Cape Verdian. West Africa. We are a great mix of beautiful people and I'm proud to be from CV.
First discovered this song right before I went on a vacation and blasted this nonstop throughout the entire trip. Whenever I hear it now it instantly takes me back to that trip. Good times.
My friend who introduced me to j.cole back in 2009 shared this song with me❤. I always come back to it to because I realised that life without it has no balance💯🔥
