1. Black flag “Damaged” 2. Impetigo “ultimo mondo cannibale” 3. Repulsion “horrified” 4. Autopsy “shitfun” 5. Detonators “just another reason” Top5 at this time
Dismember - Death Metal Iron Maiden - Somewhere In Time Nasum - Human 2.0 Marduk - Heaven Shall Burn Mayhem - De Mysteriis Dom Sathanas Cannibal Corpse - Tomb Of The Mutilated And about 100 more. Impossible to narrow down really but always a good time trying to.
Bathory - Under The Sign Of The Black Mark Death - Leprosy Suffocation - Effigy Of The Forgotten Pyrexia - Sermon Of Mockery Sacramentum - Far Away From The Sun Devourment 1.3.8 (Gotta have those demo versions lol)
I bought a cassette tape of Carcass - Symphonies of Sickness album in my highschool days and it has both Reek of Putrefaction & Symphonies of Sickness. 1st time I heard it I was blowned away and wanted more, made me a goregrind fan. Cant believe they put both albums in one cassette to blow your brains out.
Deicide - Legion Darkthrone - Hate Them Kreator - Pleasure to Kill Slayer - Show No Mercy The Misfits - Walk Among Us Asphyx - The Last One on Earth And countless others Hails
I can't pick 5 of all time so I'll just pick 5 of my many favorites not ranked in any order: Terrorizer - World Downfall Bolt Thrower - Realm of Chaos Sepultura - Beneath the Remains Death - Spiritual Healing At the Gates - Terminal Spirit Disease
same. my #1 thrash album. #2 razor - violent restitution #3 exodus - bonded by blood #4 dark angel - time does not heal #5 whiplash - power and pain my top 5
1. Witchfynde Give Em Hell 2. Poison Into the Abyss 3. Slaughter Strappado 4. Trouble The Skull 5. Amebix Arise! 6. Witchfinder General Death Penalty Quick 80s list
Horrified is indeed some heavy and compelling stuff, brah brah. I’ve just over the last day or two had a Renaissance with this album. Pleased to see your mention.
Damn near impossible.... but off the top of my head in no order. Venom - welcome to hell / Celtic Frost - morbid tales / Black Flag - DAMAGED / Motorhead - overkill / Cannibal Corpse - Tomb of the mutilated / Bathory - S/T . Some of my favorite releases are bootlegs ;).. I have lot's of misfits and samhain boots haha
I have yet to hear the others but I absolutely love For Victory and Epidemic of Violence. For Victory is definitely the heaviest album Bolt Thrower ever recorded and Epidemic of Violence is a sonically brutal death thrash wrecking machine. The production on those albums was also solid.
Top 3 are pretty set in stone, but the others can change 1. Judas Priest: Stained Class 2. Motorhead: No Sleep Til Hammersmith 3. Black Flag: Ace of Spades 4. Poison Idea: Feel the Darkness 5. Bathory: Bathory 6. Slayer: Show No Mercy 7. Sodom: Persecution Mania 8. Entombed: Left Hand Path 9. Venom: Black Metal 10. Deathhammer: Evil Power (a release from Hell's actually)
J-dawg could you do a video on more of your favorite heavy/speed metal records? Don’t break the oath is also probably in my top 5 favorite records ever and if some dosen’t know about it they are some of the biggest posers on the planet!
same here, MF is my favorite band, they are usually my test to people when it comes to Metal. Dont know or like Fate or King Diamond? Probably better off not talking music with me
J-Dawg, on the matter of the original Cannibal Corpse logo, I remember years ago reading an old interview with Alex Webster and he said that Chris Barnes owns the original Cannibal Corpse logo.
Your going to hate it Opeth - Still Life Ahab - The Giant Bolt Thrower - Those Once Loyal Metallica - Ride The Lightning Type O Negative - October Rust Mastodon - Leviathan
I would 100% be down to watch some of you CD collection, since that’s mostly what I do on my channel. You ever toss around the idea of doing like the Metal tag thread videos? Sometimes are annoying to you, but there certainly good for getting attention to her channel. Just some food for thought maybe. Repulsion is 100% one of the greatest if not the best grind album of all time. Either them or some impetigo for me. Cool the see all these old 80s pressing, Do you have any good stories about finding expensive old pressings at record stores for really cheap price? I scored a cami label combat pressing I don’t break the path for like eight dollars a few years back. Butchered at birth is my fave cannibal. It’s just so filthy sounding; that production sounds so good with the guitar tone and the whole feel of the record. My favorite morbid angel has gotta be blessed are the sick or gateways. I just love those sludgy riffs during the tucker era, but you can’t best stuff like day of suffering on blessed. My top 6 would be Savatage - hall of the mountain king Candlemass -nightfall King diamond - them Sabbath - sabbath bloody sabbath Caladan brood - echos of battle Bathory - blood on ice In no particular order I’m all about that epic metal man.
What is Metal tag thread videos? is it where you review/ talk shit about someone elses videos that gets shit load of views? If thats case sure i can do it but like on who? not really sure who are the "big shots" on you-tube in the metal scene wise. I am sure its full of some real clowns though not that need a good bashing.
@@justinhorval8491 hahahahah no it’s not but it would be hilarious to watch you roast the dudes at banger TV or something. No the metal tag is more like you get 20 questions to answer about some records and you pick an album that represents the answer to each question, there’s usually a new one every year. I’ll post this years collection of questions below, I’m probably going to do one in two weeks or so The Metal Tag 2022 Questions: 1. Favorite Reissue of 2021 2. A Band Discovered in 2021, New or Old 3. An Album with an Outstanding Vocal Performance 4. A Gap Filler 5. A Cheap Pick-Up from 2021 6. Favorite Album Cover of 2021 7. Favorite Track of 2021 8.
Richtiges Revival
Those Cannibal Corpse represses are pretty cool. I have one of each (Metal Blade did 2 different colors for 'Eaten Back to Life', 'Butchered at Birth', and 'Tomb of the Mutilated') They are all fairly affordable on Discogs.
was really surprised to hear the guys getting interviewed talk shit on I Am Morbid (a cover band..?? kinda doubt that) and Dave & Pete both of who are without a doubt true Godfather's, living Legends and founders of Death Metal itself. Dave & Pete are known all.over the world from TERRORIZER on and they can both deliver the goods to this day. I am not sure if anybody really has a clue who these 2 guys are tho. Pete had more to do with the development of the Blast Beat than any other drummer out there. The 1 guy getting I interviewed said, "..any band that starts with O sucks"..? What about OBITUARY or OVERKILL. Like J-Dawg said to him in the interview.. "..alot of the rules you are setting down, you are skating on thin ice yourself" 🤪
Yo J dawg do u keep all of your LPs outside of the record sleeve? I personally leave them in the LP sleeve and just make sure to leave enough room in my shelves so they ain’t all smooshed together, which impart leaves ring wear.
Necroexophilia - "Frantic Visions of a Xenogod" Shawn Whitaker - "The Sickness Singularity" Septic Felch - "Performing Goretopsy" Displeased Disfigurement - "Origin of Abhorrence" Ascendancy - "Rise of a Dead Empire" DEVO - "New Traditionalists" Origin - "Echoes of Decimation"
My Necrosis Repulsion album has a black sticker on the front saying they are the fastest band of all time and the major influence of Napalm Death , and other shit I can't remember.
.1 Self titled - Orchid .2 Serpents of the Light - Deicide 3. In the sign of evil - Sodom 4. Hacked up for barbeque - Mortician 5. Blood Fire Death - Bathory
Top six desert island favs off the cuff: 1). Desultory: Bitterness 2). Brutality: Screams of Anguish 3). Sinister: Diabolical Summoning 4). Marduk: World Funeral 5). Deicide: Serpents of the Light 6). Dark Funeral: Angelus Exuro Pro Eternus
Can confirm that Back on Black pressings suck. Nearly every LP I've picked up by them sounds hissy or like they sourced the master from a digital copy instead of being mastered specifically for vinyl. Anytime I see a cool album I want on vinyl I always check how it's mastered. If you see an album mastered by Patrick W. Engle, pick it up, BoB pass!
Death Metal (limited to 6): 1 Fear Factory - Soul... 2 CC - The Bleeding 3 Bolt Thrower - The IVth Crusade 4 The Berzerker - Dissimulate 5 Suffo - Effigy... 6 Liturgy - Dawn of Ash
How I've never heard of you til yesterday blows my mind I have bought alot of stuff from HHR and everything is always the best quality possible and quick ship and great customer service but anyhoo thanks 4 doin what u do may the road rise with u🖖🏻🔥☠️🔥
hell yea dude serpents of the light rules some people bash on it because the production but I totally dig it. What did you think of scars of the crucifix? i think myself and other people were already bugging you about it but a deicide collection video would be cool or maybe show pics/stories of deicide.
