Mai più una interpretazione come quella del 2007, iconica, eccezionale, senza parole per descriverla. Ottime anche le successive ma nessuna perfetta come quella, indimenticabile ed apprezzata da milioni di melomani. Dobbiamo però ringraziare Florez per aver conservato la sua voce sempre brillante , vibrante e meravigliosa. Lo adoro.
To me the best JDF's performance of "Granada" is that on Proms in 2007 - absolutely iconic, perfect, impeccable, imposing, ravishing, also because of the orchestration and accompaniment. But this one is also grandiouse, showing JDF at his best - the beauty of his voice, unparelled mastery of his interpretation, perfection of the vocal rendition with brilliant ornaments. A feast for the ears - and for the eyes as well...
