Dope Dilla face sticker on my back car window rollin' around Detroit showing respect like I'm spose to. Dilla will always be Motown's finest! Rest In Beats
Those interludes man...brings so much respect to Jay Dee and add the notoriety he deserves on his beats and music. 7th of February is gonna be is Dilla Day and this Jazz Spastiks is the best celebration that I could imagine. Thanks for sharing it with us!
@@SashaFujiwara saw a very interesting interview with jd where he busted on mad for taking dilla’s submitted-for-consideration joint (‘oblighetto’)and mad just put it on his album as his own shit. i kinda lost respect for mad after that
The fact that he put the "donuts" album together while on his hospital bed says a lot about his dedication and staple he left in the production game hands down definitely in my top 5 🔥 rip Dilla 🙏
crazy, listening to titus do his ‘funny voice’ thing on fall in love; when i met him after he and village parted ways, he said the other guys hated it lol rip titus; hope you and dilla are kickin it

@@andremiller7725 I'm gonna be bias G because I think Dilla is the greatest producer. His music is timeless, not taking Premos work done but yo Dilla is the one.
@@TSNZA I think I slept on DILLA being from Brooklyn. I only became hip to him a few years ago. I had no idea his catalog was so vast and that he produced so many ILL JOINTS that I liked but didn't know he produced the beat. Like Badu's "Didn't You Know". That smooth ass, jazz type, neo soul, meditative, contemplative, have me drifting in space some damn where type track. I have to ask myself, could Premo have produced a track like that?
@andremiller yup that was one of his best work especially like Water For Chocolate by common forget his production and listen to the songs he sampled from damn he had a vast music collection and I read somewhere he particularly loved music from the 80's era.
@44:00 Slum Village - Conant Gardens, I opened all the windows and doors in my house and tested the limits of my $900 speakers. I was not disappointed.
@@andremiller7725you don’t compare the two ... Dilla was on his own road of musicality . Dope producer , D J and lyricist . Primo was just nice on the beats and D J ing .. both had different styles . Tooo dope individuals on their own roads
