Carl your videos helped me rebuild my first diff years ago, I apply the knowledge you’ve posted on RU-vid everyday for work. I’ve rebuilt hundreds of diffs and have accomplished a lot….also created some pretty wild stuff as well, thanks.
I absolutely love these on my TJ, have had them for a few years now, they work great! zero leaks, all smiles :). They are so simple, and don't require any tools to use or lose, I really think these are a vastly overlooked item in the sea of aftermarket parts.
yes I did, I put a small 1/2 gallon tank fed by a higher volume low pressure pump than the high pressure pump, and the big key was to put 6 psi valve in the return line from the 1/2 gal tank back to the main tank, that way there was always pressure feeding the high pressure pump. when I did the clear hose cavitation vid, the low pressure pump fed only half the volume of the high pressure pump, duh, it was starving thus cavitating. Have had no issues in a year with it. I also had to put a 1 1/2 gallon expansion tank, ( like a radiator over flow tank) on the vent line of the main 43 gallon tank, as it was build to fill to the top, thus when warming up there was just no room for fuel expansion, which was causing back flooding through the vent lines to the intake, ackk. I guess I need to do a vid on how I solved all my fuel issues.
