I'm so happy to listen to Hobi's songs. He is always bright, smiling and generous. Before I listened to his songs, I imagined this album was going to be pop songs. But it was totally different. We could listen to powerful, energetic, dark and rock songs. So cool, and So fun! I love them! Everyone has shadow and dark side of feeling even if they are bright persons. It’s wonderful to have artists that you love and have such high expectations for who still manage to surpass them and impress you at every turn. The artistry, messages and content of Jack in the Box went somewhere so refreshing and meaningful and the small details of how those elements were expressed brings me great satisfaction. It’s so solid and yet a blast to listen to. Thank you HOBI!!

I do appreciate that Arson is the at the end it's like a triumphant track and one that says there's more to come while also there's that tease of should I stop? It's very powerful introspective, questioning while still pushing forward. There's a juxtaposition in the song in itself and how it sits within the album. Love it.

Hobi said he put a lot of effort in planning the flow of the album and it shows! The whole album is coherent and flows smoothly. So when you feel like listening to a song, you naturally listen to the sing that follows and so on. The lyricism and production is top notch. Great work j-hope 👏💜

Wow, I love the Jack in the Box album even more now that I know the meaning behind it. I feel honored, in a way, to get to see this other side of Jhope. He has really shown us his artistic and emotional maturity with this. So proud of our dear Hobi 💜

Hobi we didn't feel the absence of a featuring artist in the album , that thought didn't come to our minds ,not even once .you truly worked so hard from writing, composing, singing, rapping even giving ideas for different shots . j-hope challenged himself when he could have taken the easy road and just let others do the work for him and he just show up to sing and rap. As scary as it was to risk revealing that he had other sides than just Mr Sunshine, j-hope challenged himself to step outside of the safe BTS box. Beautiful album. I always appreciate when an artist explains the art and in this case makes me love both more 😊 if anyone asks me, I'm "let it burn" team, preferably long slow burn to intensify flavour and tenderness (meaning there're many years ahead, breath and enjoy the ride, you got this and ARMYs got your back) 💜

I mean Army knew all along but Hobi is such a talented genius ...and his music always comes straight from his heart! It´s a precious gift to listen to his solo album....I´m so glad that with deciding to concentrate on their solo endeavors for now - NOW when they are at their current peak of their success- they also give the world the chance to finally recognize them as the brilliant and (from my personal perspective) far superior musical artists that they always have been. Music can change the world and as long as we have musicians/human beings like Jung Hoseok to let people listen to songs like "equal sign" or "STOP" ("there are no bad people in this world") we have a bright future ahead of us!! This time he explored his shadows but honestly through that I see his light shining even more brightly than ever. I mean what an inspiring person...I feel so honored to be his Army! I will challenge myself too and keep loving, learning and growing with these 7 amazing people...actually I think this to a part is what it means to be Army and it´s maybe partly my answer to Jiminies Festa question when he said he wonders what it means to Army when BTS calls us "our Army". I always immediately thought of "unconditional love" - everything with BTS and Army comes down to unconditional love! I constantly observe that. And it´s every aspect of love... Actually even the bad sides that exist with everything...if you really think about it and dive deep to the cause it comes down to love...for example when some fans can be in the harshest and worst way overprotective - it comes down to immaturity and a kind of "love gone wrong" that results out of it...and then there is this highest form of love that also exists parallel to that and in my opinion deserves the most of attention! And it´s represented in the endless kindness that our fandom can show, the way we are a family, help others, preach messages of love etc., etc., etc., and of course this highest form of love - because we saw it and learned it from them - it´s represented in Hobi and all of BTS themselves and their work. So we as their Armyfamily should do everything we can to support them always and never forget for what we stand and who we represent! ...ok end of my essay😅the power of BTS is that they can make me write this much😂...anyways Borahae and APOBANGPO💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

The amount of work and thought and effort that went into this album... This was a highly interesting interview. Thank you so much for the Insight. For me he definitely achieved what he wanted with this album. I got to see a whole different side of him, and the depth and sincerity of his stories and thoughts came across. The album has a nice flow to it, I listened to it multiple times. Safety zone has a special place in my heart. I just love when artists explain the intentions and thoughts behind their work, it makes the music much more meaningful. He did a great job!

i have so much respect for hoseok. he’s so incredibly admirable. all the hard work and passion he poured into this body of work is something i truly appreciate as a listener and fan. i love every track with my whole heart and with every listen, my emotions for it and hoseok grow. i hope he’s as proud of himself as we are of him. 💜

Desde que empecé a seguir a BTS a mediados del 2021, me costó mucho trabajo verlos simplemente como idols. Los veía muy dedicados a su música, llenos de pasión, con muchos mensajes por transmitir; y con esta entrevista me doy cuenta de que son eso y más. Se han convertido en grandes artistas, y Hobi aquí se ve muy profesional y emocionado por mostrarnos su trabajo, aunque aún un poco tímido, eso lo va a ir controlando. Amé su presentación en Lollapalooza, arrasó por completo, y su álbum es una maravilla. Espero poder seguir viéndolos crecer como artistas a los siete, no lo digo sólo porque sea su fan, pero con el paso del tiempo van a ser recordado como los grandes, y aquí podemos ver una de las razones.

Todo está increíble porque lo hace para mostrar su lado que aún no había mostrado. Y en realidad me encanta demasiado, y tengo ganas de ver ese lado cada vez más.
