Jung Hoseok is not all smiles and sunshine. There's so much more of him that we don't know. But from my observation, I could conclude one thing. He's a responsible and reliable person that values work and organization. He gives his 200% in everything, and I admire him for that.

Like Yoongi was saying, people like Hobi who are normally so “sunny” on the outside tend to internalize a lot of stress, hurt and anger and keep their true emotions to themselves until after awhile it just builds up and is too overwhelming to keep inside. Nobody is able to be positive and happy 100% of the time. I think Jimin and Taehyung in particular purposely try to push his buttons to get him to crack and drop the happy-happy facade, which makes them either really brave or just plain cray cray. 😂

Hobi is really scary when he's really angry. Can't mess with him, because at that time he's serious. 💜

Every single person in this world has their own anger. When the other person keeps on annoying you ,it is natural that we get angry. Hobi is also a human... He also got angry when things were not right or maybe the younger members keep on annoying him playfully. We cannot blame hobi for that. Hobi is such a true and lovable person.... But he also had emotions too. I really love hobi for his playful nature. But beyond all that he looks cute when he is angry.🥰🥰❤️❤️❤️

I think it's great that he has many facets to his personality. And he's still the best guy.

Hobi is very reactive in general, he laughs immediately and loudly, jumps 10 feet when scared, so this is not surprising but very interesting, I haven't seen much of this! I think he is quite sensitive really to everything. I love Hobi, he is the amazing lead dancer and he moves so incredibly, I like seeing this side of him as well as his sunshine side. ☀🌞✨

What got me properly into BTS was their dynamic as a family. Hobi is very much the one that maintains the "right" way to be bangtan, keeping gratitude central to who they are & what they do and will be the first to verbally smack upside the head any member that's getting too big for his britches. (And given they were boys together, there were probably plenty of literal smacks upside the head off-camera.) He's deeply affectionate (while oblivious, love those vids, btw) and loving at the same time. The people who guide behaviour with deep love and firm expectations can be some of the most intimidating when they're not happy. You know they won't *ever* hurt you, but you keep a wide berth all the same 'cause shit's scary. Hobi always feels like that to me. The dude that embraces love, joy, positivity & hope who will call his loved ones on their shit immediately BECAUSE he loves so deeply. Edited to add: Just saw the time on Run BTS when JK saw a Camera Director barefoot, silently went inside & got sandals, gave them to the CD & went back to the food. Hobi saw all of this & immediately praised JK, nice and loudly. The translation said “JK! Meticulous care.” but you don’t need translation for the pride in Hobi’s voice. JK tries to dismiss it and Hobi’s there with the “JaayyyyKayyyyy!!” big-up. He’s so generous & honest with his praise, he’s right there to big-up his brothers with enthusiasm & love. He is the stickler for them all keeping their heads on straight and their feet grounded, but boy does he ever love hard on them at the same time. He never misses the opportunity to let his boys know they did good. (Maybe not as much as they’d like about their dancing, but that’s work, Hobi’s amazing at it when it’s personal.) {Thank you for reading my essay about part of why I think Hobi’s amazing. ;) }

Actually he has very reasonable anger. I don't get angry easily too. But I can totally relate with ditching responsibility, bothering me when I want to be alone or rest or doing something serious, Accusing me for something I didn't do, Keeping people waiting without a good reason, taking everything as a joke or joking toooooo much can triggering our sleeping anger. I have few more causes makes me so mad; Hurting someone's feelings Infront of me(specially if I notice their hurt face), cheating, breaking trust are some of them. Even though I get mad I still try to suppress cuz I don't want to regret what I said in anger, but if you get me express my anger successfully either run far away or put something on your ears to block hearing what I'd say.

The good thing about being sunny most of the time, is that people will take you more seriously when you’re not sunny. So at least people can take him serious in serious situations. If you’re serious, or showing negative emotions most of the time, people will have a more difficult time understanding the more serious situations/feelings you are going through, cause that’s what they see all the time. I really do love Hobi. I love all of them but Hobi definitely deserves some credit for this.

In our religion and culture🇰🇬 the coolest man is that, who can hold his temper... It's easy to become angry but very difficult to hold back. I guess it's really hard to them trying to not show on camera when they are mad😶. For Hobi it's even more difficult cause of his "Sunshine" image😔. Everybody expecting from him being always joyful, happy and smile😑 - it's difficult, very difficult... Hobi, i like you the way you are. I'm a new fan of BTS just a couple months back. At first I was attracted to Jimin, maybe because he is cute and sometimes being flirty in front of the camera. But over times, the more I watched them, seing all their vidoes; when they perform, doing games, or vacation, interviews, etc.. I started to falling in love with Hobi's /J-Hope's personality. He bring so much positive energy to the group, he's always smiling, but also fierce at the same time, he's mature but not forget to having fun too. He has the sense of leadership. He is kind, mature, good looking, thoughtful! The most important thing, he is being authentic as a person. My bias are J-hope and Suga 🥰
