Now this shit is hot. I wasn’t a fan of the last stuff he dropped but hopefully he gets closer and closer back to his old vibe/HLC era. Sometimes these labels wanna totally change new artists sound.
U think so? I honestly feel every song I come across, and I'm not like 100% aware of all his discography, sounds like a "j.i." song, as they relate. Mayb a bit more "rapping" or talking here, but really he kinda reminds me of Jadakiss in the sense: u know they are New York, all day er'day and not cuz of their accents. The beat 1stly of course, but then even down to most of their videos. They stay feeling under ground to me. That's not me saying he nor Jada is, but more like they feel gritty and heavy and yet articulate and specific, tho u absolutely have to be current on hood talk. The diff is they kings in their own hoods, burrows, and we got a bunch who just as gritty n heavy, and paint pictures (or videos if they get caught in sum) and lay out good stories all while having their own hard flow, but it's just we hear them outside their spots plus in some markets, bout 10x on the radio, or more. N I Def think J.I. deserves that and Jada sees it here n there(maybe j.i. should lay lower, cuz he speaking on sum too lol) but this y some contribute them to underground. But back to ur point. Great artists have their own "stand out" flow. Like Prince. U can't tell me u can't tell a song he got sum to do wit. I like that w J.I.
As he should but real talk let's go Killa NYC stay gang banging be active be tragic and dangerous f all the feds f all the police we have to get that bag everyday
