John. Do you remember the Leonard family from the the village of Fuel (sounded out)? As a kid, i used to come over from New Jersey for the summers to Charlestown and been in your bar many times.
Just love how LG went from playing knebworth to loosing everything and then starting a new in a pub in Ireland with a 10 odd people in it and then Gaining everything back love h always LG as you were
That poor chap who started 'drumming' on the table will forever be known as the 'wanker who fucked up the video' when he thought he was going to be able to brag to his mates that he jammed with Liam. You failed mate. You failed badly. You will now feel the internet's scorn for doing so. edit: @ 5:14 'Twat' the Table Drummer decides to fire in an embarassing table drum solo and is put in his place by the old man on the left who tells him to stop.
Mee Maloomy Whow! So you are a professional table drummer? He was there, with Liam, face to face. So... Bless him. You are just another youtube comment on the cloud.
The other day I was at the dentist undergoing some serious drilling when Liam Gallagher came on the radio. His song completely took me out of the situation. I don't know which one it was but his talent is undeniable.
Liam keeping it real down the boozer. As much as he fuckin loves being a rock 'n' roll star, I reckon he's enjoying being able to do stuff like this. Havin a jam and a pint of guinness... can't beat it.
Trying to piece together the lyrics: When i wake up and i hear you say theres no love worth chasing yesterday Cos its alright Cos its alright now Yes I know, I've been bold* Didn't do what I was told [Load of wankers make noise] Gonna take you off my, list of to-dos Gonna sing my torture off this blue? Cos it's alright Cos it's alright now. When i wake up and i hear you say theres no love worth chasing yesterday Cos its alright Cos its alright now Yes I know, I've been bold Didn't do what I was told Yes I know, I've been bold Didn't do what I was told I ain't looking for no 9 to 5 Sick of wasting all my precious time Cos it's alright Cos it's alright now. Yes I know, I've been bold Didn't do what I was told Yes I know, I've been bold Didn't do what I was told [Twat starts drumming] play it on the play it on the play it on the air......or lay it on me yeah, blame it on me [-blame the twat on the drums] *could be wrong not bold...or bald lol 5:45 "dad...fucking amazing, next beatles yeah" ..."thanks lennon"..."youre welcome"..."sorry lennon" take it lennon was filming :)
Keyboard Warrior The part lacking is "Gonna sing my torture off this blue" And I reckon he says "made it all, we, made it all for you" on the last part, but I can't be sure v:
Wow! I remember when I first saw this video in 2015, I never thought this song would be 'Bold' later in 2017, by the way, one of my favorites in as you were. Well done Liam!
You know, in a weird way... this feels like a dream you have in the middle of the night. You find yourself in a pub, say, with lots of strangers. What am I doing in pub, you ask, unable to understand. Confused. And then you're like -- WAIT -- isn't that a Gallagher over there? By himself? Since it's a dream you can't remember his first name... but you're like... yeah... that's so HIM. And you're like, wow, that music sounds just like his music... even though... I've never heard it before... I know that's him. And you want to move closer, but you can't, because he's surrounded by people you don't know. You're not even sure he knows them either. And you're starting to feel bad for him. Maybe you didn't like how he treats his brother. Maybe you don't like how he treats anyone. Including himself. But you feel for him, you know? And Beady Eye did have some solid songs. Fuck, you say, what is he doing here?!? A four letter word really gets your meaning. And then some fuck starts banging out a drum part... so poorly... you want Liam to stop and crack that guitar over his fucking head.... LIAM is his name... and then the dream starts to fade into darkness... and you realize none of this is actually real. And that it never happened.
Reddevil20 Audience = 'the assembled spectators or listeners at a public event such as a play, film, concert, or meeting.' congratulations you're right, it is a local pub. it's live music, there is an audience listening to live music and it technically is a concert. A concert = 'a musical performance given in public, typically by several performers or of several compositions.'
Really interesting song, hope it gets on record one day. Think you can all give the guy drumming a break tbh, it's not as though this was a paid gig and I'd be going nuts if this legend came into my local
What I mean is his singing style is not nasal as fuck like beady eye era but it's the mix of nasal and throat which similar to 1997 that's why i said it reminds me i didn't say it's the fucking same his voice changed from teenage to grown man dammit .
Beady Eye fucked up from the start: Wrong producers for a start. They should of worked with Death in Vegas. Any oasis fan can tell you the track Scorpio Rising was a Liam stepping out of the Oasis shadows and Beady Eye was just Oasis minus Noel. Second mistake was playing Oasis songs written by Noel. Instead they should of pumped out the tracks they wrote for Oasis. I truly believe if Liam works with the right people he will have a good solid album. Love me and Leave me written by Liam and John Squire is such a class song and shows Liam can hold his own as a musician.
These song sound pretty damn good. It's all going to come down to production to make them work. I hope he gets someone good in the studio to lay these tracks down. Nothing too clean like the Beady Eye albums...
+ThreeCrowns DGSS is the antithesis of "clean" production. It's horribly mastered. Worse than even Be Here Now. BE is much better. But what exactly is "too clean" anyway?
The drumming is annoying and wish the crowd would give him a little more respect. Just seems like he's at the wrong place for this kind of music . The guys sitting beside him seem very bored and annoyed. I do think this is a pretty decent song from Liam. I do enjoy his simplistic form of song writing as it seems to be coming from the heart (as best he can, he never seems to be phoning it in)... Will say at first I thought it sounded like Morning Sun or Start Anew. Once the refrain came, brought back memories of Boy With The Blues. Also with the refrain part , that's the only time whack jobs table drumming helps the song. Least to me
It's an Irish pub, and if someone was to start singing or playing an instrument, you can guarantee a table or bar drummer will join in. No harm done. Just to add. When I say an Irish pub, I do mean one that is actually in Ireland. No bicycles in the window or silly hats.
That's a much better voice than Noel. Yes, Noel is better at other stuff, I'm not being nasty, but that tone, much better than his brother. Noel's voice is much thinner and harsh.
Liam`s working class hero moment , right here in this boozer . And the lad didn`t fail . Me and my lad got to see him back again in 2022 at the Etihad and what a fucking gig .
Go and Listen to some of the bands out now singing bout tere vegdn diets now thats fucking dreary you obviously dont get the Gallaghers music. Dont get me wrong im a huge Noel fan and was tiring of Liam and his attitude but this tune is fucking good.
Jamie Campbell So you stay the same person throughout your entire life? You're the same person you were when you were a kid? No, you aren't. You develop and change, and that's half the pleasure of music - hearing your favourite bands change and develop. I'm interested in hearing Oasis develop and change - but it never seems to happen.
Us irish arent stupid like people in the UK, or the yanks when it comes to celebrities. We dont dribble on ourselves like the English do. Liam is pissed in this video. the lads beside him are musicians too. everyone is getting drunk and singing or playing instruments, it just wasnt recorded, check out the banjo beside that guy. It's called a session over here, and both liam and noel have said before that the Irish show them a great time and they love coming here. The dubliners, U2, thin lizzy, this was common behavior in Ireland 30 years ago. We dont take life as serious as the rest of ye :) The guy tapping the table is drunk and enjoying himself. Also called living.. Get offline ye clowns and try socializing in a pub. Ye might meet liam too :) ye wont online,lol.. fools
Derek bull knows I agree, I'm from England but i still haven't made the short trip over the Irish sea yet. I really wanna go soon for a holiday and massive piss up mate
hellcat19832 @ spending your life in a pub isnt living, i agree.. but in moderation it's good. im irish, im 36 and i dont drink . i like going to pubs with my friends. It's called having fun. i say "us irish" cause im proud to be Irish. I say that, and i still have other things in my life to be proud of :) lol @ Look at the people in this video, they can't shut up for 2 seconds when a music legend is playing, great respect!... If they wanted to hear liam they'd of went to the O2 and listened to him. These people are out for the night. Liam seems a nice man but he isnt JESUS.. Sounds like you need to chill out. maybe all that traveling has made you a bitter depressed prick who hangs on every word so called legends like liam says :) Go home and put on your Definitely maybe album and have a wank to how great Liam sounds :) # Very sad
Sam Mortley Come over Sam.. these small pubs are down in the country. you'll love them. there's one in Athlone called Seans bar.According to the lads at the Guinness Book of World Records, it’s the oldest pub in the world. It's small, cosy, and there's about 30 people drinking in there weekdays. there's old traditional music too. It's cool to see musicians up close playing music. Kinda like Greenwich Village back in the 60s.
He's like a poor man's Noel Gallagher. If anyone else had picked the guitar up and done that everyone would have said, "What the hell's that noise?" Haha. He's no better than your average busker. I'm not surprised people were talking over it. If Noel had been playing, you'd have been able to hear a pin drop.
No, he's just a fucking rock and roll star. He respects the fans, and has time for REAL working people. Does the average busker also happen to be a British rock icon, the voice of a generation, own a clothing label, and also be considered by many as one of the best rock frontmen of all time? Sick of all the Liam hate. Sure, he's made some mistakes, and done some stupid stuff in his time, but that's what makes him fucking real. He's the last proper rock and roll star, and there are many, many, many people that give a fuck about him and what he's doing. (As can be seen from the amount of views this phone recording has), so keep your negativity to yourself, and don't be such a pleb.
