Let us all mourn Jeremiah John as former President and of course as a human being. He had his good side and his negative side. Don't pretend as if during his military Regimes days Ghanaians were angels.
I missed the discipline Ghanaians during the time of Rawlings. Musicians think very well before recording a song, because any profanity in your music will be banned by JJ. Women dressed like real African women, any improper dressing was punishable by JJ's regime. He saw to the fact that the poor and rich had their fair share even on the local markets. Over pricing of goods were crime during his time of ruling. Freedom of speech was according to the African Ghanaian culture, the young respected the old. Curruption was a great enemy to him and the currupt were the people who saw him to be wicked because there was no chance to get their curruption done. I was young but I saw and still feels the difference between his time of rule and all the governments that succeeded him. He ruled an African Ghanaian cultural Democracy and that is why I love him. I pray you find mercy with Allah and a peaceful transition. The corrupt were the people who saw him to be wicked, That is it,I keep saying this,because most people did not get the chance to steal from the state so those people all tag him as wicked, Coronavirus came and common gari raised from 7cedi to 15/20 cedis,and many people could not afford this. It does airs content which could be cultural, social, political etc. What the channel does not do is petty partisan politics and to be used as a mouthpiece for any political party.
