Summary:
Is there relationship between two images?
Every reaction is stored up in the brain. If there is a constant recording of everything the brain begins to wither away. Is that old age?
What is the source of desire and how does it flower? Can one observe desire as it arises?
Is there beauty only out there in the hills, the valleys, the running waters or does beauty exist only when the "me" is not?
Is love something outside of human existence? Has it really no value at all?

Agreed but how do you stop the process he described- seeing, contact=image and thought… how do you stop the image and thought and therefore desire from forming?

When K is sharing observations that serve to unravel a lifestyle of illusions, I’m relieved. He also points up beyond a lifestyle- a society, a culture, a global system that is not healthy.

Sometimes we need to remember in relationships. For e.g. if an close relative is having a nature to insult. We need to remember the next time we meet the person so that we can avoid this person. So memory is essential when we need to remember the nature of a person and what he or she likes and does not to avoid further conflict.

@@sebastianak8476 If you remember what other person is, that is still in the area of knowledge, that is past, that is the image created by thought based on past incidents. As long as you have images of any kind then there is no relationship. We need to understand what is observation. In observation no past plays any role so no images of any kind so there is no resistence on others behaviours and attitude and what they say either insult or flattery. So no effort. pure observation means no analysis, no judgement, no resistence, that is no thought at all. Thought distrubs attention and observation. In total attention nothing would effect to one who is attending. As long as there is an image then only effort, violence.. etc and all the misery. So memory at physocological level is always dangerous. All that should come to an end completely. Then only there is absolute freedom. That is totally different kind of energy where thought has no place at all.

when image formed?Having created image about oneself,permanent image,semi permanent image,one find security behind sensory from thought responses,so images are created are nearly pointing out,later accumulations of reactions established in brain,living with image,conditioning,encourage,discorage,keep recording images in Brian,living in past images of all matters.

It's difficult to understand what kept K. going - not that this matters as he's the best going. But he must have realised the listeners found it difficult to grasp his insight. Perhaps he covered too much dragging the listener along preventing a way in to his understanding. It seems just taking a single sentence and sensing its meaning in relationship to our brain might have been enough.
