This is one of those games where it's generally best to follow the "50% Rule", where if more than half the server is playing things one way in a round when you join, you should follow along. Like, if the D-Boiz and/or scientists and/or guards and/or MTF have started a cult around 173 and are chanting "PRAISE THE NUT!" in chat, if the 173 and at least half of the server is playing along, chances are it's a silly round and you should play along. Meanwhile, if at least half the server is taking shit seriously, then you should probably not try and start a 173 cult.

Definitely take a look at the SCP wiki. It's basically a bunch of paranormal shit ranging from harmless goo that cures depression to a giant unkillable lizard that hates humanity. SCP Secret Laboratory is just one game set in the SCP universe. Other notable SCP games are SCP Containment Breach and SCP Blackout, though I don't know how well received Blackout is. A AAA game with heavy inspiration from the SCP universe is Control. If you wanna cry, here be dragons. Cardboard box that acted as a gateway to a realm containing fantastical beasts who took the form of origami creatures in our world.

@@Ch4pp13 If I remember correctly, "Here Be Dragons" used to be an actual room where people could visit the fantasy world, and vice-versa, but as humanity lost its belief in the Fantasy the "Room" got smaller and became the box, the creatures lost the ability to manifest properly in our world, and thats why the where Origami.

On top of the stuff that @Chappie said, there's also an SCP inspired game (soon to be series) called Lobotomy Corporation. While it does not feature any SCPs from the SCP universe, it has it's own swathe of abnormal objects and monsters, with your task being to manage your teams of employees in order to appease/neutralize the creatures contained in the facility, each with it's own unique restrictions and sometimes containment methods too. It's a pretty good game overall that really captures the feeling of an SCP universe (especially given the discovery of the details of each abnormality and seeing what they do when they manage to breach containment) despite being it's own separate thing.

Non, pretty sure everyone who ever played the BL2: Electric Boogaloo will think of Krieg with Mute's inner dialogue.
