Makima is the perfect villain and I know people say that she “groomed” Denji, but that’s completely wrong because she NEVER cared about Denji. She never truly saw Denji, she always only saw Chainsaw Man, her idol and her reason to exist in a world with no logic. The very fact that Denji was able to sneak up on her because she only acknowledged Chainsaw Man’s existence is proof that Denji was nothing to her, yet Denji still decided to take responsibility for her actions and share her burden by fully consuming her. People don’t get it’s not just because Makima is attractive, it’s because Makima is one of the most complex characters in modern media. And I think this video shows that complexity of Makima.

@@SideOfSociety Makima did acknowledge that she was messing with Chainsaw Man because as the control devil her form of twisted “love” was about having complete control over someone’s desires. It just so happened that Denji really cared about sexual desires so Makima gave him twisted experiences concerning that. Had Denji cared about anything else, then Makima would have given him twisted experiences about those desires instead. Makima had no ulterior motives in particular and wasn’t trying to make Denji into the perfect plaything. She just wanted Denji absolutely dead and to have Chainsaw Man to herself. Denji was more her competition than someone she wanted to groom. Makima the entire time thought “Why did Pochita chose him and not me?” And it explains all her actions as coming from a point of jealousy not desire towards Denji. She truly only messed with Denji and expected him to kill Gun Devil and then die and let her finally be alone with Chainsaw Man.
@@SideOfSociety Grooming isn’t really the appropriate word. She had no sexual motivation, she just didn’t care about him at all. How can it be grooming if it wasn’t sexual?
Because high ideal want very much power. For power in this world we need in sacrifices. No one man can't be a stronger then everyone if him don't doing sacrifices. Sacrifices piece of him, him humanity. Sacrifices another people. Vampire. Cannibalism. Slavery. In this world base of power for live creatures is ecological sistem. When ecological sistem was degradation when people take power with help sacrifices. For now people don't start upgrade ecological sistem when everyone who want realise him ideal-be go on sacrifice. Therefore evil so beautiful. Therefore evil the only one thing who can realise ideal of everyone. Because now there is no ecosystem that would give enough strength to fulfill the desires of people without sacrifice. Since people do not want to deal with ecology, evil will rule the world. An evil that follows its own ideals and will sacrifice others for their existence. People have earned this world for themselves. And it will be ruled by the people of the dark triad.
