Description: Jesus asked hundreds of questions recorded in the Gospels - some that were direct and indirect, rhetorical and participatory, compassionate and combative. Many of his questions formed people, left an indelible more on people’s lives and changed them for eternity. We study Jesus’ teachings, his parables, his healings and his actions; but why don’t we study his questions? Why did Jesus ask so many questions? What if Jesus was not only the Answer to our questions, but the Question to all of our answers? What if one of the primary ways we grow to follow Jesus more closely is to ask more incisive questions - of God, of others and of ourselves? And what implications does Jesus’ question-asking posture have on our lives today?
