@@asagoldsmith3328 I don't think that when one delves into the ancient ages of Arda there are such things as "canon" and "non-canon". What one finds are different versions and various retellings. Tolkien was always making changes to his lore. As for Dagor Dagorath, it may have been removed from later tellings(since Christopher Tolkien THOUGHT that his father intended to scrap the idea), but the idea of the Second Prophecy of Mandos is certainly present in texts. Indeed, there take place arguments in the fandom about the canonicity of various tellings, but at the end of a tired vocal chord or tired typing hand it is found that we do not really know. So go by the version which seems convenient to you. Good day.
Astounding piece! This theme sounds both majestic and ancient. It’s unique elven theme perfectly describes the Rebelion of Ñoldor and their wish for revenge and to create their own kingdoms in Middle Earth! Thank you for creating this!
That's awesome, i'm musician and i thank you for such an incredible work. Tolkien's world is the best work ever created on literature and this honors him!
Thank you, your words fill my heart. I composed this music reading for the third time the Silmarillion, it was raining, and I was flying over Middle-earth. Thank you so much
Do not thank me, It's me who should thank you over and over. If it was by me, everyone reading the book in that part would be listening this song and feel the real sensation of a powerful world!
Iam impressed - this is so awesome and beautiful- why is it not popular? You have an own theme - lots of people who try to create SIlmarillion music simply"remix" all that is from LOTR (Howard Shore), and I don not think it suits the story, for the Silmarillion is too different, and deserves own themes. It's better than TSFH
Thank you RU-vid, for bringing me to this jewel. I can hear all your hardwork my friend, it really goes well with the passion of the Noldor, their beauty, their vengeance, their rage and their promise. So sad Fingolfin never got a chance to ask Feanor for an explanation for leaving him behind
Thank you so much!!! This great piece of music is so perfect! Astonishing and beautiful and epic and full of emotions. It makes us see all the heroic things Fëanor and Fingolfin did in their lives. You are a genius!! I was desperately searching for a song depicting Fëanor, his life and his inner fire. After I listened to your work, I couldn't believe I had found you!!!!! I used it in my video about Fëanor Spirit of Fire (but unfortunately it's for Italian users, I will translate perhaps, in the future, maybe...). But I am here just to express I am so grateful to you (not only for contributing to my work) for giving me such a wonderful music to listen to, thousands of times, each time I need to stay in Fëanor and Fingolfin's company, in Tolkien's world. THANK YOUUUU!!!! ❤❤❤
Valdwir!!! Ma sei italiano come me??
2:40 I am not sure if this jovial part fits with the Return of the Noldor. To me this sounds more like what would play in Gondolin during the festival of light right before the attack starts at 3:27
