it;s nice to see a women on this instrument i like the lute very much i don't play the lute I play the harp but I have always like the lute and the lute music. I don't know if I will ever learn to play the lute the harp was hard enough to learn and I love the harp more than any instrument. but still i like the lute.
It doesn't look like half of the neck is fingered much. I would guess that the bass strings are not fingered (unless the piece has it so only the bass plays in one portion?) just due to the fact that the neck is so large.
