I risk one encomium more, R.M.: You ILLUMINATE the Badinerie. I know: I played it 50 years ago! Even then, it was all but played to death! A true performer rises higher, as have you. Bravo!

Your performance speaks to me of an insight into the materials of music which few have. In particular, you balance what is "male" and what "female" about the flute in exceptional ways. And this is important because the polyphony of a Bach does likewise. Please continue performing so as to further illuminate my understanding of the Baroque/Galant/Classical!

I'm also a flutist, but as it's rare to hear this piece on the transverse flute, as it is usually played on the transverse, which has its specific sound that I don't particularly like, despite playing on a handmade PVC flute.

Good Sir: I hope you have also performed Telemann's equally-archetypal Suite in a. That is one flautist's staple always worth another reading more. The overture in particular could just as well have been written for you, to say naught of the Air à L'Italien.
