Here's Laurel Harned performing Frank Koonce's arrangement of "Double" from "Lute Suite in C Minor, BWV 997" Laurel recorded this piece on a 2012 Gabriele Lodi "Enrique Garcia" classical guitar made with spruce top and Indian rosewood back and sides. Recorded at the Guitar Salon International showroom in Santa Monica, CA.

You'd think Bach would get a bit boring 270+ years after his death, but then you hear this played so incredibly well and it takes you back to school. Awesome... nice work!

Apparently I have never heard this piece before, because what a memorable performance! I would never have forgotten it. Anyone who can get through that is a star, and to do it so well is a hero.

@p.grimmitt1648that means, you have never heard the BWV 997 Lute suite full. Listen on RU-vid to Petrit Cecku, he is making a wonderful job. I recommend also the BWV 996 played by Marcin Dylla just amazing.

Laurel's prowess in technique is astonishing. The more demanding the passage the more she was aggressive with it...toying with it. Most admirable. And what a babe!
