Very relaxing to hear this on the guitar.

Beautiful arrangement. My mother was a church organist and I grew up from a very young age listening to her playing Bach. "Sheep May Safely Graze" and "Jesu Joy Of Man's Desiring" and "Sleepers Awake" and many other pieces had a huge impact on me and still does to this day.

A totally sublime rendition of this beautiful aria. Kudos.

This is one of my favorite Bach pieces, but I haven't heard it on classical guitar before. I think composer Bach is up there cheering this perforamance of his work right now. Beautifully done, Thanks for your masterful performance of it.

I absolutely love Bach's work, and this particular Cantata never fails to leave me speechless. I was curious to see if I could find other arrangements for the piece, and I'm honestly happy to have stumbled upon your video! Your arrangement is wonderful and I always find myself going back to this video time and time again! It brings me comfort and greater appreciation for the classical guitar. I make a conscious effort not to speak in absolutes, so I will say that nearly every note is intentional. It is as if half of Per Olav plays, while the other half is taking a careful inventory or “audit”, if you will, of every note and the value. The phrasing is outstanding, and Julian Bream would agree as he once said “We hear the first note, and it is as if at that same moment we have also heard the last.” He said something like this in reference to the 1000/1001 Fugue - it is a privilege to play pieces such as this

I must tell you, "the Beach" is hauntingly beautiful, and the first to catch my attention. The guitar technique is the best ever. I adore it.
