What’s up everyone I just wanna say it feels good to be back to the contest 🙏🏽✊🏽 it’s been over a year. I know where to improve and I’ll be back soon thanks for the comments feedback good and bad. Much love
Hoan has moves for days and his musicality is off the charts! That glide @ 1:30 How he even started his second round, throwing his shirt back then hitting the claps until the beat dropped, and then finishing the battle with his signature spin @ 6:11 Super nice!
Oh wow… this is a much better camera angle of Hoan. He did a lot better than that first footage made him out to be. I might have to reevaluate my judgement of this battle.
@@nativerootzmedina6942 mt pop never battled hoan so far and i dont think he could beat hoan. And Green beaten hoan one time in 1 vs 1 battle just like hoan did before. So Both won 1 time against each other in 1vs1. It would be a great battle against green.
Hoan definitely won this, he uses his body more proficiently, also he moves and utilize the floor as well. Jsmooth was really good technique wise for arms and body but movement wise I would say Hoan got an upper hand. Anyways, art is subjective so it all comes down to judges preference in this scenario.
O cara quando pega um mestre chamado J-smoth tem que se virar mesmo kkkkkkkkk o cara é uma lenda do poping mano , j-smoth e salah ouve uma época época era só eles dois .
@@itsdeadshot2501 how's that hate taste? he's been one of the best in the world with the music that is not up for debate you just have no sense of music its ok, study him learn something
@@ramaaa1227 What's up for debate is the guys statement. That's all that I'm debating. Mans claiming that jsmooth founded them musicality that is used today which is factually incorrect. He didnt create any musicality and in my opinion his musicality is mediocre. I can literally do what he does in terms of musicality I dont see much going on but it could be different in person so I'll save my full judgement until I see him in person. But man hes not one if the best in the world. He literally just has alot of years popping and training so hes bound to have high level stuff but the way he puts it together is mediocre in my opinion. With that level of body control and understanding I'd at least create a more visually appealing style. For me I dont see clear executions of movement and a big lack of flow when it comes to transitions.it looks like hes rushing half of the time aswell
Both amazing dancers i love how Hoan has embraced the funk more recently but the reason im commenting is Hoans shirt is badass anyone know where can i get it?
Crowd asleep. Also the people who are questioning the Hoan win are too focused on the combos and not on the bigger picture. I'll put it this way: If it wasn't J smooth and it was a different wave/tut specialist but one that wasn't a legend or perhaps wasn't American, you wouldn't be questioning the result.
"too focused on the combos and not on the bigger picture" agreed, his dynamics and timing are way more interesting/coordinated and his dance comes across much more naturally.
just western people not willing to have their pride wounded, typical, I'm even more surprised hoan won. 100% would have expected a bias judgement since it's in America afterall and the other guy is a past legend
Es que ese Battle se juradea con los ojos cerrados ovio que Hoan domina x mucho,J Smooth no avanza puedes regalarle las dos primeras entradas que es muy facil xd!
hoan - seems to lose "crisp" in his pop maybe because of his age or he chose not to pop harder like before - still focusing on beatfreak but not like before always sacrifices his flow in order to beatkill - compared to his previous tournament which was feel the funk , here seemed bit underperform maybe jetlagged - very dynamic compare to before covid (2019) plus jsmooth - in my opinion his musicality in this particular battle is equal to hoan's - classic jj just my two cent
@@user-zc1wg2tt7v you don’t know what tutting is then lol he tutted once in the last round 🤦🏿♂️ he waved and danced and was better with the music then HOAN everyone thought Js won who has a valid opinion. If you don’t like him that’s fine but At least make sense 😂
@@itsdeadshot2501 haha biased usually works with the one who's expected to win because they have a bigger name in the competition world. Finally someone with a different and fresher style JS won to a lot of people
Thought jsmooth took round 1 and slight edged round 3. Music was ok round 2 and 3. It’s the final then again tested them to different things to the flow and pace of music.
yo not to sound funny but I love the 2016 Jsmooth he was so fuckin clean. I think it's because he gained like 50 lbs. I hope my man goes back to his normal weight.
2nd guy needs to tone down his response battle and save his energy for the final version. Joan took it ez. He didnt need to show his hand so early. Still freakin amazing though
lol the crowd... hoan giving them 3 crazy rounds and they are so quiet... only my man on the left in the blue hoodie got it. But J smooth does some showman easy wave stuff and they scream like kids... at least the judges knew hoan was worlds ahead
Idk but Hoan style been looking a lot like Kite style, Idk if they started training together or what but the footwork is very similar, Hoan also used to be more groovy and less technical, the opposite of Kite, props anyway, Kite is the goat
