Did you ever find out who designed the cars for the Rocky Point House of Horrors? Or has anything been discovered at all about who bought the ride at auction, or where any of the stunts/ props ended up... They were all removed after the auction right?
The cars were designed and assembled in-house by the park staff. They had been repainted at least three times by various artists. The party that purchased the ride at auction was never released to the public. It's apparent that they never collected their purchase.
@@MegaParkLover Appreciate the info. I've been on your site a few times, a lot of good stuff. I guess i missed this particular RP article. Thanks.. So basically the couple Tracy props and other displays left inside the HoH were demolished along with the building, and/or "vanished" with people sneaking in the park over the years when it was condemned?
@@clintwilliams3818 There were only two Tracy props still inside when the ride closed, the rest were added in the mid-1980s, but nothing of significance. An unknown party purchased the ride at the 1996 auction so perhaps they took all the props. Nobody knows for sure.
