J. VERNON McGEE- "BUT GOD" THIS IS ON HERE FOR THE WORLD TO SEE. 

This man brought me to Christ thru the radio. But he passed away years before I heard his radio program. When asked how I came to Jesus. I say "Well my beloved a dead man led me to Christ 3000 miles away. I never met him. I never shook his hand. But he was involved in me receiving my Christmas present on Dec. 24, 1990. Eternal Life!" Thanks again McGee!

The voice of Dr. J Vernon McGee has got to be one of the most comforting that I have ever heard. When I was a child, my dad would have his toast and coffee while listening to him before work. Dr. McGee has always been there for me, faithfully preaching the word of God.

After over 30 years of listening to him, this is the first time I have ever seen a video of him, of him visibly speaking. Priceless; thank-you!

This old man picked me up hitch hiking about 35 years ago in the Trinity Alps of CA. He told me that he normally wouldn't pick up "hippays" but God told him to give me a ride, but he didn't want to. Dr. McGee didn't have much patience with me or my lack of hygeine and he preached for 3 hours. He had a captive audience and he let me have it! I was as miserable a sinner there ever was that day, I'll tell you. I squirmed and sweated for three hours, and when he let me out, I was arrested for hitch hiking, and I thanked that cop for rescuing me from that crazy old preacher! I got home and heard him on the radio, and remembering that he said that he had a "little radio ministry" I wrote him and tucked in $5. Now I'm the old man preaching at the hitch hikers, and I'm a lot like the old preacher; he rubbed off on me. Thank you, brother. I don't like Scofield, and I keep the Sabbath. There I part ways with the very good preacher. But there still is no other Bible study that I recommend, he is so spot on. Brad in Maine.

I am 68 years old and I have heard this man teaching on my parents radio when I was a small child. His voice is unmistakable and brings back memories of my parents farmhouse kitchen. I have learned so much from him!

Pastor Mcgee pasted into eternity in 1988. His radio ministry is still on the air in over 100 languages around the world. Praise the LORD for the ministry of Dr. Mcgee.

Im 59 years of age now and listened to this Gentleman when i was 14..

When the Jesus People Movement closed their coffeehouse for good in Spokane in 1973, I had no where to turn. Then one day I was tuning around and heard this wonderful country preacher named Dr. J. Vernon McGee. He's lead me closer to Jesus than any other and I look forward to meeting him up yonder when it comes my turn.

Oh my his message is even more pertinent today is it not?

His radio messages are so timeless that I didn't know that he went home to be with the Lord..His messages can be easily applied to what is going on in today's world.

I was introduced to Dr. McGee in the fall of 88 right before he passed into glory, I have listening to him for nearly 30 years. A great man of God . I listen to him. Everyday, thank God for technology.

My Dr. Mcgee story. In 1986 I decided I was tired of being ignorant of scripture. So I started reading daily and listening to Christian radio. Everywhere I turned, FM or AM, I'd hear Dr. Mcgee's voice and immediately turn him off. I traveled some in my work all over the US and every Christian station had him on! So I'd turn him off! Finally, after about two years, I got tired of turning him off. So I began to listen. After one 30 minute program, I fell in love with him. I got so excited, I called his radio program in Pasadena to speak directly to him. This was on December 8, 1988. I was informed Dr. Mcgee had gone to be with the Lord last week. I was devastated and sad. But the person told me that TTB would be on until Jesus returned. I've never stopped listening.

God is good and Dr. J. Vernon McGee has done a fantastic work in describing the Good News of How a desperately wicked man (me and all men under the Law) needs the Christ and can have Salvation through Faith in Jesus. I Trust Him!!! amen, wel Thank God for Dr. McGee and Through The Bible ministry!

Sadly. I never heard of this great man until yesterday. 2/1/2018. But happily I was introduced to him and he left such an amazing body of work. This was a very moving sermon. Thank you for posting it.

I’m from Texas and grew up in Georgia listening to Reverend McGee since I was about 5 (I’m 35 now) and recently found out that he pastored a church here in Decatur Georgia down the street from where I live and work. Also that my grandfather attended his classes while he was a student at Dallas Theological Seminary, and that he taught my mom at Shasta Bible College in California for a class or two. I almost feel like Mr. McGee is my grandad too ❤️

What a mighty work the Holy Spirit has done through Dr. McGee. I remember hearing the radio announcing that Dr. McGee had gone home to the Lord. I felt like someone had at the back of my head with baseball bat. I thought "oh no! Now what are we going to do?" I felt this engaging man's voice had been taken away from us. Well, obviously I had the depth of insight of a myopic mole. His voice has not been silenced. In fact with the explosion of the internet it has been amplified. We know that Dr. McGee would object to being held up as anything other than a miserable sinner saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. But there is no denying, the talents and gifts that God had given to him, were used, and are being used in a Godly way. THANK you so much for posting this video. I love jumping on the bible bus, but I also love to see him deliver God's message and see his conviction in his delivery. Thank you THANK YOU!

I will always remember the first time I heard Dr. McGee on the radio. I was staying at a family members house because we were homeless for a time. We had a small infant and I could not work. My hubby could not find a job as well. It was a miserable time. This family member would get up and carry a portable radio around blaring Dr McGee sermons as she fixed her coffee, then left the room. This happened about every day until we left. Later, I sought his sermons out to listen to for myself. His loving messages helped heal my loneliness and homesickness being newly married. I really needed a kind word of encouragement in those hard times. I thank God for kind people like him who always make one feel he is talking right to you personally. Yes, my beloved, God loves you, he'd say. Thank you for posting these beautiful sermons. I can't wait to see him in heaven with Jesus, too.

My grandmother had me hearing these sermons until my twenties. I’ll be 37 December 18 85 and I still use his sermons for strength and thought..

Now this is preaching God's word. LOL, this is the first time I ever saw what he looked like. I used to listen to him on the radio for years. what a blessing to find this.

There is no man on earth that has had an impact on my ministry and life as the late Dr. J. Vernon McGee. My theology teacher used to listened to him in through the bible radio. I then became his listener too. I wrote to them and they sent me bible outlines and tapes. Through this man, the Lord used him to make me desire to teach in radio. The Lord opened the door for me, and since Nov 2009, I have been preaching in a local Christian radio station in my mother tongue. Many are been blessed through this ministry.

McGee! What a blessing to hear such a wonderful, Bible based, Spirit filled GOSPEL message.

I listen to Dr. J. Vernon McGee every day. His wisdom and knowledge of the Bible is simply amazing. He dedicated a large portion of his life to studying and teaching God's word so he could clean up the fish in the fish pond, (you'll hear that if you keep listening.) We are truly blessed to have his recordings, books and 5 year study of the word.

If you were here, I'd take you out to dinner!! May I thank you from the bottom of my heart. I've never seen Dr. McGee to preach in person. Thank you so very much!!!

9/3/15: Thank you for posting this video. I have listened to his radio broadcast but have never actually seen him. His sermon is just as relevant & fresh today ( 21st century ) as they were in the 60's, 70's and 80's. WOW! what an inspiration. 🙏

Once J Vernon Mcgee starts preaching, he really had this ability to go on and on without stopping... and that accent was absolutely legendary

He was a SUPER great preacher as well as teacher. He is gone to be with the Lord now.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God. Salvation is for All the world. believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and You will be Saved, this is God's command. And if we do not believe in Christ Jesus, then we do Not believe in God. God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are One. The Praise and glory be unto God.

I knew Dr. J. Vernon Mcgee from the 70's and I requested some of his booklets, about a dozen of them plus other literature that guided me thru many years, I heard his set tone voice that I can distinguish anywhere, thank God for Dr. McGee. God bless you all.

There is nothing more to be said about this sermon. J Vernon McGee nails it over and over again and I am thankful that he and others like him are still preaching through radio. If we, as Christians, would hear sermons like this every Sunday, we'd be without excuse.

Back in the 80's I Ran across Through the Bible on a local radio station. I fell in love with J Vernon McGee at once. I was not saved at the time but he sparked my interest in starting to read the Bible. I find it amazing how God still uses him to this day. Your right in saying we are in desperate times. It is a shame to see where the world is going. I think we are reaching a point when Jesus will come back for His "True Church". I think there are going to be a lot of surprised Christian's.......

I owe so much to Dr McGee. Thank God for letting me hear his Bible teaching.

McGee had a Impact on many people. God saved my soul when in 1985 Mcgree was still living I listened I've been listening to McGee for 30 years, Love and appreciate His Ministry now more now than ever. He's been with The Lord for 27 years. and many are still being Blessed.

i never meet mr Mcgee in person, but one day i was looking for a christian program on the radio, and what it cough my attention was his accent, i'm not from usa, but i live in here for more than 31 years.i disagreed with him on most of his teaching at the begining; i was not a truly christian, but i listen to him many years , i did not agree because of my pentecostals beleif; but brother Mc Gee always mantion how important is to know the word of GOD. back them i only rest on what my pastors teach me.never read on my own and if i read just verses pointed at bible study. thank you brother to teach me, the importance of knowing or reading the whole word of GOD. i remenber one of his teaching . when the apostle Paul said: i have show you or teach you the whole consul of the word of GOD..... It is a true pleasure to hear Dr. Mcgee, but it's even better to see the man with the voice. i have been a follower for some years. This a man who has the gift of being a man to deliver the word of God, peace to all.

This is one of the best presentations of the Gospel I've ever heard! You can sense the compassion of God freely offering salvation to helpless sinners through this humble man who deeply understands complex theology, but has been broken by God like plowed soil through life's experiences to know that he is no better than any of us. The last few minutes of this message brought me to tears as he reflected on the fatherhood of God - simply through faith in Christ. Very encouraging!

I called on the name of the LORD when I was 9. Baptised at 18 . Started learning about The LORD and The Bible when I started listening to David Jeremiah and J.Vernon McGhee on KAAY am1090 in Little Rock Ark.

BEAUTIFUL

An expository Bible teacher like McGee is naturally exercising his spiritually gift, which is an act of love to the church. This is a completely different gift than Evangelism and the others, but it has almost disappeared from American church pulpits. Bible teachers never seek attention towards themselves, because they know the main work is happening = that the Holy Spirit is illuminating the souls of believers, with truth from the Word of God over time. My mother listened to J. Vernon McGee when I was a child and the impact of hearing the teaching from the pure of God has been great.

First time seeing him outside of the radio - wow.....

It's such a treat to be able to see Vernon. I've been listening for a decade at least. You learn so much from his teaching, it is clear and simple yet it will by the Holy Spirit carry you to God's throne of Grace.

A great man of God. My friend John and myself (John) also used to listen to him on AM radio in the mid 70's nearly every day on our surf trips. Even through the radio you could hear the love and burden for others he had. He is a great part of the reason for my faith. We used to love the way he said "Jereushalem" with his Texas drawl. A great brother that I never even met but admired and listened to intently. I am pretty sure I will meet him on that day. "God bless you my beloved"

Even a child could understand the simplicity of Dr. Mcgee's Messages. Jesus used this man in a mighty way to bring souls into the kingdom and to teach those who are already in the kingdom.
