I’ve had it with this designer!!! We know he’s an influencer favorite, just like Balenciaga, so that’s a major red flag. A quarter of these clothes are somewhat interesting, another quarter are gimmicky BS, and the rest are just dull or ugly. I liked this designer’s collaboration with Uniqlo, and I even own a coat from the partnership. But his recent collections with his own label as well as the Loewe line are eye roll-inducing, I must admit. It’s time to call out the BS and the gimmicks even though the influencers would say it’s genius. It’s not!!! And the audacity to include Howl’s Moving Castle in your narrative? No, just no.
I thought I was the only one who lately each season, be it Fall/Winter or Spring/Summer, collections from J.W.Anderson, Loewe, Balenciaga, and sadly of lately Marc Jacobs ( when did he stop making "hip cool girl" looks???) , along with many other creators, keep sending out collections that really are basically, looks for fashion editorials and pleasing fashion editors , for celebrities and influencers for photo opportunities, Nothing rooted in reality, and I thought the big message from the "fashion industry" was all about sustainability and clothes that are meant to last beyond one season then discarded?. You think you will really still love and wear shirts with a penis printed past next fall into the next season?
We need fashion court!!! I'm seriously it's crime😔 We need punishment for it and pp and d&g please stop it😭 there are a lot of talented designers in shadow while this s**t is on top
Britain's sexual awakening period was a time of music, rock and roll, drugs, hippies and rebellious youth, interesting part of its history and for Anderson to tackle this in his collection is refreshing. Hope he does Westwood one day, even just for a designership.
But this is not even "high-concept" fashion this is a collection that is way more editorial than anything else, these are "high-concept" fashion you will see in Italian Vogue, W magazine, etc. And for "influencers" to post about. As far as "not cute clothing to wear to work", none of his clothes are but only people who work and support this brand keep him in business, don't his customers need real clothes to wear ?
@@arisha_bitk I was also wondering what that represented as well, and I get the " high-concept fashion" as was stated previously, but ( in my simple opinion, lol) it didn't make any sense, not only the penis printed shirts, but many outfits shown in this collection!
