This was J94 Austerity NCB No.19 on steam duty at the Bo'ness and Kinneil Railway in September 2024, plus some video clips of railway interest .
NCB No.19 some history :-
0-6-0ST National Coal Board Area 7 East Fife No.19
Built 1954, Hunslet Engine Co., Leeds. Austerity design. Works No.3818.
The locomotive was supplied new to the NCB Area 7 (East Fife) at the Michael Colliery. It was overhauled at the Central Workshops, Dysart, in 1965, then returned to the Michael. After the disaster there, it was transferred to Wellesley Coal Preparation Plant where it remained until 1971, when it made its final move in NCB service to Comrie Colliery. SRPS Core Collection, acquired 1985.

Alfie thank you for your comment , I've heard that 37214 repaint is just a tidy up job whilst its locomotive parts for 261 are removed.

Wearing a cream coat at a steam railway… not a good idea. Years ago, a lady had a cream coloured coat on (I think it was a fur coat too) and when the driver opened to ejector, a spray of black water went up the lumb, and all over her 🥸

Thanks Jim I remember the same thing happening to myself years ago when I was covered with a black water spray from Maude and it was not to easy to clean off.

37214 is a donor locomotive for '261 and is being given a repaint to make more presentable. Once it has been stripped of parts, the intention is to demolish it.

Good video as always, rode behind 19 last year when I visited. Crew were very friendly and let me have a look around the footplate (got to throw in a few shovel fulls of coal too!).
