For the first time I can remember ever and I've been a Bengals fan since 1980, the Cincinnati Bengals are built to win w/ or w/o their starting QB! With or without the Bengals best QB in the history of the franchise and that is quite ironic, this team will win. This Defense will be Dominant. And the Offense without JB will be awesome. With JB this Offense will be nearly unstoppable.

All he was saying, is that it's best to miss an extra game at the start of the season, as opposed to missing the last game or more at the end of the year, because he came back too early.

What he said always made sense to me. He is just looking out for his bro and the whole team for that matter. We would survive if Joe had to miss a game or two ,but the last thing we would need is for him to make it worse and have an injury linger on longer than need be. He just maybe exaggerated it a little bit to make his point.

Joe might be hurt. Kinda think it's management being smart and making sure he doesn't get hurt in pre season. As the saying goes "I was born at night just not last night". If you are a believer in coincidences or fate you believe he has really bad luck every single pre season. Here in the real world we can clearly see the idiocy in risking Burrow's health before the season starts. Joe is not going to benefit from pre season practices or games enough to make up for the risk of injury. Burrow is self motivated and prepared enough to wait for the first regular season game to play. I wonder what Joe's pre season bad luck will be next year? I don't think he's hurt and don't think the Bengals are stupid. What possible up side is there for risking any injury in pre season. I see none.
