Ja'mie is in trouble for a topless video that has been leaked and her chance of winning the Hillford Medal is under threat. From the Chris Lilley mockumentary Ja'mie: Private School Girl.
I feel like the reason they deleted this scene was because it's too realistic. The teachers are actually standing up to her and making very valid points, and that kind of subtracts from the over-the-top comedy of it.
Growing up in Australia I remember the teachers and principals went through so much crap with the students. They were walked all over with little respect for what they did. No one really appreciated their efforts. If any teachers or principals see this thank you :)
I think it's a bit of both. I also went to school in Australia. I had teachers who bullied students and treated them like shit, and often humiliated them to the point they were in tears crying. These students didn't give attitude and didn't have behavioural issues so didn't deserve it back. There were also some teachers who were very kind to students but still go attitude and bad behavior. In my last job all I did was push trolleys and clean supermarkets, even I had to face criticism at work.
my strict Christian school allowed nobody to stand up to a teacher without being publicly humiliated and doing the walk of shame then called into the office and humiliated more in front of their parents and asked to apologise to the class after serving detentions and missing breaks to do supervised study 😂
Principal :"And you accuse us of being racist when you're quite happy to throw away the term 'lesbian bitch' what does that tell me about you?" Ja'mie: "That's not racist".
i dont know if this even made it to the netflix version but this scene is so raw, i love real moments like this. cant have over the top comedy all the time. considering how real this show is portrayed as anywayss. scenes like this are very important and necessary. please dont ever think these are a waste of time.
Hard ti believe , but there are girls in high schools, and some primary , that do carry on like this, and believe it, they felt so privileged they brought their parents into it as well to hussle the heads of the school. See it happen. You think Chris is imagined this up , sorry, very very wrong. It does happen.
They shouldn’t have told Erin in advance that she was getting the medal. They should’ve just presented it to her on the night as a surprise, cause then Jaymie wouldn’t have been able to come up with a plot for vengeance.
What’s your opinion? Do you think it was fair or unfair of the administration staff not to give Jaymie the medal considering that she didn’t publicise the video on social media and her sister admits that she was the one who publicised it?
Quite the conundrum Courtney should get a consequence for publicising the video by suspension Also Courtney violated Jam’ie’s privacy On the other hand Jam’ie is a rude, spoiled, conceited miss who probably only does charity work and all that just to get a medal and look fabulous They should’ve just given Jam’ie the bloody damn medal she earned it after all
Funny how Lise Rodgers reprised her role Mrs Welham the principal in Jaymie Private School Girl, but Tovia Matiasi didn’t reprise his role as Jonah’s Dad in Jonah From Tonga.
Come to think of it, Jaymie doesn’t deserve any award or medal. She’s so rude, immature, selfish and narcissistic to a lot of people including her parents and sister. Good job principals, you made the right decision!
PurplePinkRed wring, she literally said “I’m going through my bi phase”. She isn’t gay, she ends up saying she’s bi because it’s trendy. She is homophobic, that’s just part of the character, based on real teenage girls. There’s a lot of girls like this yet have a “gay bestie”
