This episode of The Hog Pod features an in-depth conversation with Arkansas running back Ja'Quinden Jackson. JJ opens up about his journey from growing up in Dallas, Texas, to navigating the challenges of transitioning from quarterback to running back. Playing football at Texas, Utah, and eventually making his way to Arkansas. He reflects on his struggles, including injuries and personal losses, and the motivation he draws from his family, particularly his mother, who has been a driving force in his life.
JJ shares how his background as a quarterback has given him an edge as a running back, providing him with a unique perspective on defenses. His insights into playing in the SEC and adapting to Coach Bobby Petrino’s system reveal his determination to make a significant impact on the Razorbacks. Throughout the interview, Ja'Quinden speaks candidly about the pressures of being a top athlete, his commitment to his family, and his aspirations both on and off the field.

😍Ja'Quinden Jackson's entire interview with Bo here just brought me to tears.. I don't know if its simply because I'm a mom now of my own 11 year old son, but to hear the portion where he gets down deep and says " I'm a family man.. I love my family so much.. " I mean, That's why I'm doing this... I want to take good care of my family" THAT alone made me wanna up the amount of money that we send in already that helps these boys.. THIS ONE.. as I know all of them want to do the same.. but the look and the way he has spoken so in depth about his personality and his motivation for the game and this sport and this great state.. he's very humble and doesn't take a single moment of this opportunity for granted.. I couldn't be more proud of his already tremendous drive and what he has done for this Razorback team.. but this young man is a STAR... He will be someone as we have seen in the past .... His personality reminds me so much of my all time favorite plater *RIP* Mr. Alex Collins.... his mental state of mind and support around him will continue to thrive ... all of his positivity throughout everything he's dealt with and continues to thrive in school and in this sport will be what he continues to show in the sport and what I KNOW will show in the NFL ... HE IS TRULY a sweet , humble, positive, caring loving young man.. I know that my son had always loved our previous QB K.J. Jefferson, mainly due to my dad knowing his mom and living nearby his entire family down in Mississippi, but My little boy, Matthew wants this young mans jersey and said "Momma, I WANNA BE LIKE JJ" lol I said why's that? he said UM LOOK AT THISSSSS.. HES A STAR MOMMA.... I wanna meet him and shake his hand and tell him THANK YOU AND GO HOGS!!!! so with that being said Bo Mattingly If you get the chance, Pass that information along to JJ for my little boy! Needless to say, WE ARE BEHIND YOU J JACKSON!!!! BEYOND HAPPY AND CAN'T WAIT TO SEE YOU CONTINUE TO THRIVE FOR US HOGS!!!!!! #WPS #BIGGESTFANS 🐗🐗🐗🐗🥰🥰

I've known this young man almost his entire life, you won't find a better young man. He graduated in 3 1/2 years with his degree amid many deaths of very close friends. I believe he still haven't played his best ball yet. He has so much more to give to the game and to life. He can become a difference maker not only on the field but off the field as well. He talks and takes pictures with everyone and will not turn any kid down who wants to meet him. Class kid and becoming a class young man. Straight like that. Eat Greedy! #TheMatrix
