Huge ! ! ! With added Fugue it will be Cosmic... Please publish the Fugue, Jaap. Judging by your tempo and tonality - entire combination will lead to a brand new discovery of 582.
"Dear Jaap Eilander - Pianist. I see that your channel is very valuable. I would love to repost your whole channel, without changing anything, on the nice platform named Gan Jing World. If you agree with that, please let me know. Thanks!"
At least an authentic point of view well executed. But misinterpretations are too many, here. For a faithful rendering, listen to Christian Zimmermann version.
...yet I do believe that this particular transcription is simply outstanding. I cannot wait for Jaap to publish the fugue as a second part of entire composition. This is a must in regard to BWV 582, since it is unique combination. Fugue is like newly born Child with umbilical cord still attached to mother. The rest of Bach's combinations, be it toccata & fugue or prelude & fugue are all can live their own separate lives in terms of performances, yet 582 is a special piece of music and IMHO it is inseparable... This performance is stunning and brilliant in its own way. I can recognize Bach, Beethoven, Rachmaninov and Tchaikovsky inside this first part only... Wander what fugue is going to sound like... However You are having valid point, which is minor...
