Today, when the world is divided into fragments of caste, creed & religion - Lalan was one person who visualized a society that could break such barriers of disharmony. An early 20th century prominent Bengali philosopher - Lalon was a Baul saint, social reformer, and thinker in British India.
Sahana Bajpaie - a promising singer and an exponent of Tagore’s teachings & philosophy - sings ‘Jaat Gelo Jaat Gelo Bole’, composed by Lalan, eventually spreading the message of harmony amongst her listeners.
