I love srk and I love anushka... think I've seen all of srk's movies and in the moment I love most of them.. but THIS ONE.. honestly.. I love the journey of them both abd how they grow.. but especially the inner struggle harry deals with and how amazingly well SRK portrays it..

Agreed. One of my favorite “romcoms” (which I don’t usually like) and one of my favorite SRK films (though I have many 😁). Its odd this wasn’t a hit. I can’t help imagine it will pick up steam as a sleeper cult hit.

They took the idea as well as name from "when Harry met Sally". Copying something successful is a good idea cause you don't have to spend money in writing and it's less risky cause people already loved the idea of the movie Bollywood only wants money they don't care about art. If you loved this movie than you must watch when Harry met Sally which much better than this film

I didn’t like the Billy Crystal character or the Sally character that much and didn’t like her ending up with him. This movie’s title is a play on the title of that movie but that’s it. There nothing else the two movies share in common at all except for being a “romcom”. So I don’t see where you’re coming from. This movie isn’t a remake of that at all. I don’t know how anyone could compare the two except for the titles. Also, I’m aware of the practice of using other films to create new ones, remakes, etc. Hollywood films do that with films from other countries too and remakes of their own. Many Bollywood “remakes” of western films and even their own are often so fresh and different, they’re sometimes better or at least different enough than the original which is nice to see as a viewer. But again, that’s not what was done with this movie. UNLESS it’s a remake of some other movie, but When Harry Met Sally isn’t it.

Additionally , it deals with every immigrant 's story in Europe : The fight for bare minimum abstinence , the pangs of loneliness in a foreign country , a criticism of modern day relationships , more importantly : the angst of 20's ...

I actually loved the movie bcoz of everything, be it Shah Rukh,Anushka, Imtiaz Ali, Music, Screenplay, Editing & so I love it. The only issue in the movie is STORY. The story revolving just around a searching a ring annoyed some audience & Critics & bad word of mouth, which took the movie's due for everything else good in movie. If Imtiaz Ali had worked better on the storyline, it could had been a potential hit. But it missed the bullseye.
