I love Belair! ❤ I'm a 90s baby so I know Fresh Prince from top to bottom. I appreciate seeing this series as an updated drama instead of the legendary comedy that we grew up on and love. I love how Belair is addressing the issues of the now. I love how beautiful and Ultra Black the new cast is. I love the music, the scenery, and how the actors tap into the emotions of the characters. Jabari was so humble and cool during this interview. I was not a fan of the thought of changing this classic into a dark drama, it never works out. However I was wrong, this is a great show, from the writing and the acting.

Some people are not made to freestyle but his pen game could still be Savage asf. I hope he didn't let this discourage him he's a beast at this acting thing and I'm sure he will dominate the rap game. when he does the crying scenes he cries exactly like will! People have to realize that these are fictional characters brought to life by talented actors. Just like the original actors brought the characters to life a new group of actors can do the same thing in their own unique way. That's the beauty of acting.

It's almost eerie with how many things he has in common with this role that don't even have anything to do with his acting ........Last name is Banks, looks like a young Will (even more than Jaden), talks like him, is from the same place as him and raps. It's like the universe spit him out for this role.

I've been trying to tell all my friends that watched Fresh Prince back in the 90's to watch the new Bel Air. They refuse to watch it because they think it's disrespectful to the original and it won't be as good. But I be preaching that it's not the same thing and that's what I like about it. Jabari Banks and Olly Sholotan are killing it as Will and Carlton. It's a shame though. This show would be a lot more popular if it weren't on Peacock. If this were on Netflix or HBO Max it would be a huge hit
