Its interesting to see that the song mix from 5:23 becomes one of their best mix performances in that show called "Red Pill", which combined everything they learned in ABDC + old routines from this one. To this day Jabbawockeez continues to evolve and change up their routines (and even become an immortal symbol with new members behind the mask)
As I watched this, I imagined the discussion between execs at big entertainment firms hypothesizing how to distill or sensationalize this to the masses in a Vegas-type show. It's absolutely ideal for that purpose. Artistic spirit and soulful impressionistic bboy skills combine to make this an unequivocal masterpiece of modern dance. I am abashed, awestruck and constantly amazed by the raw and yet meticulous nature of jabba group dance, and similar others.
The JabbaWockeez are amazing. Their dancing is so smooth and synchronized. It's really nice watching them from one camera angle and without the crowd screaming and cheering the whole time, too. Thank you for posting this.
2:45 - 2:48 the sickest wave ive ever seeen my whole life...DAMN gary is an amazing dancer...i feel bad for jabba i'd feel sad if i lost a brother especially somebody who dances like him
1- Jabbawockeez We Came Here To Party mix 2- Give It Or Turn It Loose 3 - N_W_A - Something 2 Dance 2 4 - moloko - the time is now 5 - Blockhead-Triptych part 3.
Dayamn that some pretty bad ass stuff. Reminds me of the stuff I used to see in the 90's down here in So Cal but with much more organization and storyline.
kevin brewer djwishone is randy bernal and yeah he is part of the original 8, they had 11 including gary who passed away, gary and randy were pioneers who played a huge part in keeping hip hop dance alive in america way before jabbawockeez formed, on the jabba site they only show 7 remaining members, which means saso, randy, and eddie may have had to stop touring with them for family/work related issues
ive read all the questions from people that ask for the song that starts " there was nothing but darkness" no one replied on it.. id like to kno it too plz tell.. ty
@BoubkerC I agree with you for the most part except I would even say Quest hasn't came up with that much new stuff at all since season 3. Look at Quest's Champions for Charity, it wasn't all that new, half of it I had seen on ABDC 3 (their original season). Jabba's Champions for Charity performance was way more creative than Quest's. And it took Quest like a year to come up with a little something new and then when they finally did, they just changed their tricks and stunts.
