At first I was like, "Ok, this guy is reviewing this pretty well. I am actually convinced. Jabra should pay him if they haven't yet." Then he starts singing. "Sold!" Good singing, and outstanding work on the keys! Wow ! Made my day !
You really over delivered on this review by singing and playing for us to test the headphones further. Enjoyed that. you have a great voice and piano skills by the way. Thank you.
I was almost going to skip the review half way until you mentioned piano. I was expecting the conventional review however your short performance was a pleasant surprise. Good one! Enjoyed it.
@@TheThorpester Most likely to get one for myself if you still claim to use it. Not a fan of the cushion design but certainly like the neat features esp the nifty buttons dial half way through the cable perfect for placing on the desk for each access. Unique offering for such a low price point.
Not sure if it's been explained in the comments, but I have a pretty good idea as to why it didn't come with the bag and it falsely stated it had leather feeling ear cups. When you're buying this headset as a consumer, you'll get those other nice bits included. What you have is the "bulk buy" packaging for corporate purchasing. I have no doubt the amazon seller purchased the corporate bulk lot of SE20's and copy pasted the listing from Jabra's website containing the consumer extra bits and photos. Or the seller is dropshipping.
Lol. when it said 'test to the extreme ' and you started with 'piano' i was expecting to see how the headphones would cancel the background noise and let only your voice through.
@@TheThorpester can you do another video where you do that type of comparison mister? RU-vid severely lacks this type of content. Been searching for months. They only focus on the headphones, never on the noise cancellation feature of the microphone.
I think most of us nowadays search on how to remove the background noise while we are talking coz of most of us work from home due to pandemic. I'd just hate it when the roosters of my neighbor starts cackling and my customers over the phone can barely here them reason for them to think that I'm not a legit customer service, instead they think I am a scammer working on their account, so hard to win their trust :(
I just buy this heatset in a irresistible price because I star to work as an interpreter and this are so good in sound and I am very impresive with the qualitiy of everething
I also have a Motovlog channel (MotovlogUK) where all music is original. I suggest you start with this one ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0wNSN8xm-xE.html
That... Your signing was a sweet surprise. Great voice. I am planning to buy the same for signing. Is your Piano pick up also from the headphone mic? I am a bit disappointed to see there is no audio jack for mobile phone... Any suggestion on should I go with this for my song recording using mobile phone?
Thanks buddy however, I would not use this to record any vocals. Great for on-line meetings but that's it I'm afraid. There are other Headphone Mic's that do that task and I'm sure you will find one for any budget.
Under distance trading law (UK) the fact that the bag is missing and the headset is not leather effect they are Miss- selling the headset. Also you failed to mention wether the noise cancelling was any good and what about the price? ( I could not be bothered to look on Amazon for the price. Apart from those points a well produced video.😎
Allen Holton thanks mate. Noise cancellation is very good and the headphones are pretty good too. I think the price is a little high at around £40. All said though, they do a pretty good job for what they’re intended for.
Song was beautiful :) I have been using this headset for about a year now and from the last 2 months or so, i noticed that there is some movement in the mic that if i do, it pauses/plays the video that i am watching. I couldnt figure it out the move yet. Any clue???
Hi. Not sure what that could be although I suppose that if the cable has been stresses then it may cause problems with the connections. That could be what's activating the pause etc. Probably on it's way out
I had my first pair of Jabra Evolve 20 since October 1st 2019 until November 4th 2020. After that the right earphone broke because of the bad plastic quality and kept hanging by the cable. The second pair I bought and used from November 4th 2020 until today, June 11th 2021. The same issue, the right earphone broke because of the bad plastic quality and they keep hanging by the cable. Surely I will not but this model again, maybe some thicker headphones from Jabra will work better for me. The problem is that I work mostly from home and I don't carry them with me at all. Maybe I'm pulling too hard on the headphones, maybe my head is too big. I don't know. But, in terms of liability I don't know what to say here. I would spend more for a more robust pair of headphones.
@@TheThorpester Thanks for the reply. Great to see it has lasted this long. l have been using my pair for a few months and for office type use, you are correct, they are fantastic.
@@TheThorpester My bad, I think I've got the wrong wording. The round part where you can mute and unmute yourself. On a work call today I asked my team leader but he didn't understand me either! Hahaha.
I got this set from my employer. I was happy with sound, comfort, ease of use, but within three weeks it failed at the pivot point on the earpiece to the headband. I was sent some little POS replacement...I would have no problem buying this myself, but hesitant.
hello, I just bought the Jabra Evolve 20 Stereo and I have a problem. When I activate the microphone, the sound quality becomes very poor. I don't understand why, it looks like the headset automatically lowers the quality when communicating. Is there a way to keep the good quality while using the mic? because I am really disappointed not to have a pleasant conversation with my interlocutors. if anyone has the same problem and found a solution.
I used to work at home these days coz of pandemic but somehow I'm having problem with cuckoo doodle doo of roosters of my neighborhood I havePlantonixs not doing well coz my costumer can barely hear the noise of roosters. Does JABRA EVOLVE 20 can manage to cancel noise around me, while I'm working? I hope yo answer before I'm going to place my order to buy this headset. Thanks by the way you really have nice voice
I think that if you want very good noise cancelling, go for the 'in-ear' type. The Jabra does cancel noise but because it's over your Ears it won't ever be good enough especially if you have the Roosters! I find the Jabra ok though.
@@TheThorpester Thanks, I do appreciated your info much, I don't have any problem hearing these roosters but my customers do, since the mic is sound sensitive , I'm having hard time winning their trust, they thought I was just scamming them and I am not a legit collection specialist after they heard these roosters screaming out loud they hung up on me and I can't blame them specially nowadays so many scammers who steal money from others. well I hope I can find solution on how to stop these roosters from cackling out loud. Thanks buddy!
you can connect. from the mini remote where you have mute button and volume controls, from there you will have separated extension with 3.5mm headphone jack. If you want to connect with phone then you have to separate it and use it to your phone.
I am using Jabra Evolve 20 while watching this video. The sad thing is that I can hear your voice on the right ear and the background music on the left ear. If I move the right earpads away I can only hear music and not your voice. Do you know how to fix it? It might be better to hear everything in both ears.
Sounds like its not connected up right. Is it plugged in to a laptop/computer? If so, make sure the connection is in all the way and spin it round a bit while wearing the headset. A bit strange that one
I have the same problem. My USB plug is plugged in all the way, I've downloaded the updated firmware, and I've tried using Jabra Direct to see if I can fix it to play mono instead of split stereo, but to no avail. Does anyone have a solution to this?
