First time since Oasis someone turns retromusic into music of today in such a way that it doesn' t sound like a gimmick, but real, and inspires kids around the world to listen to (early) Pink Floyd and other great bands.
Anyone may have their opinion, so do you have the right. Speaking of purely the music, yes you might be right. But if i look at the whole picture, I prefer Oasis. Anyway, everybody has his own taste and opinion. But at least we both agree that Jacco rules !
one of the most common problems with indi music is that it often consists of approved "template" musical elements but still connected without any logic and musical rules so that it sounds as randomly fragmented delirium. yet they think that making it sound "vintage" is going to solve the problem. I am sorry but real music isn't born like that. These musicians exploit your good feelings about the past or your good memories to catch your attention. Sort of deception. But they are uncapable of creating a good melody and writing a good poetry to really touch your soul.
@@Stefanio64 main problem of modern generation is ability to say pathetic nonsense and stupid stamps with serious faces just like serious face makes stupidity look intelligent. every word is like ad slogan made to sound big but being plain and dumb in reality. Music isn't 'creativity freedom' etc. is that barbie speech? any music or and art object must have non-arguable cultural value otherwise it doesn't deserve to exist because it's nothing more than packed noise. If you put logo and price tag on a piece of dog shit it doesn't become valuable even if you say it's 'creativity'. I can memorize JS Bach score but I'm unable to remember any 'indie' song because it is just NOISE created by random number generator
