Jace is a shadowhunter while Hope is a very powerful witch, they are both different but for some reason very close. Jace always tries to protect her, even if they have recently known each other they end up falling madly in love. Jce knows that the power she possesses isn't all good and often hurts people, yet he can't let her go. In a fight he is badly injured and Hope is desperate, telling her psychologist that the fault is all her own. When Jace comes back healed she thinks everything is okay but in reality he is tormented internally, he has fits of anger at the trauma and they end up hurting each other all the time. After they break up, however, Hope becomes more thirsty for revenge, discovers that they have kidnapped Jace and or saves by killing the kidnappers. Together they try to collaborate against the enemies but their love is too strong, so they end up making mistakes again and for this he is arrested, once out of prison Hope enters his head to see a dream and realizes that the boy's real fear is to hurt her. Thanks to this they get back together.
