Jacinta Nampijinpa Price's father, Dave, has discussed the abuse his daughter has faced over her stance against the Voice to Parliament referendum in an interview with Sky News host Andrew Bolt.
Jacinta is an inspiration to all women. Brave, articulate, well educated and a WARRIOR. She has every right to stand up for her beliefs and she does it without fear or favour.
See, they abuse their own people. This Voice is ridiculous and would only make this abuse grow!! Disgusting!!! God Bless you Jacinta Price , MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU!!!
@@veenacriddle1207 Every ethnically homogenous population has internal abuse. And I think Jacinta would see us all as Australians and frown upon a sentence like your first one as it stereotypes and divides different ethnic groups.
My question is "why do the white Australians now, have to pay for the wrongs that happened 200 years ago." We should all be able to get along and help each other.
Concur 100%. Just sad that those that claim they defend democracy, freedom of speech, the discriminated etc are the ones being racist, discriminatory and attempting to curtail freedom of speech towards Jacinta (and others)simply because she speaks a truth they attempt to hide as they are so ashamed they have allowed it to continue unchecked. The vitriol they throw at Jacinta really should be thrown back at them for their complicit behaviour that has resulted in countless thousands of deaths, injuries and children given the worst start in life possible on THEIR WATCH and because of their NEGLECT over the last 60+ years. You keep fighting Jacinta and don't let the cowards and hypocrites get you down. You and Warren should be extremely proud as you are on the Right side in this battle against those who continue to prevent Aboriginals reaching their full potential. The Aboriginal Industry wants ALL Aboriginals coming to them cap in hand begging for scraps whilst they build their Empire. Vote NO to a racists proposal just to protect their retirement nest eggs.
Until I heard Jacinta's speech, I was so confused, but her intelligence and conviction and honesty created such clarity for my family and I. She spoke of things my Grandparents said years ago, and they have been dead over 3 decades now. She is the voice of sense and reason and she made us feel proud of all of our ancestry. Her Mum and Dad raised her well and she epitomises who Australians are. She and warren are quite a dynamic duo.
@robanderson473 that's sometimes easy said than done. Warren is now feeling the effects of the abuse labelled at him, and it's getting him down. It's abhorrent what this Prime Minister has done.
I don't need to tell you how proud you should be of your daughter. You have raised not only an amazing woman but a woman that could and should become the first Indigenous Priminister of Australia.
I fully support your point of view….as an Australian by choice and a migrant from Germany with my late French husband …..we have chosen this beautiful country because of its unique beauty , climate , space and multicultural tolerance. After having enjoyed working and living here peacefully for almost 46 years…I most certainly don’t accept to be divided by race now !
Thanks. As an Australian child of a Croatian dad and an Australian mum, he loved Australia as much as Croatia. The PM is consistently fuelling something we haven’t had. People have come here and learned to live together.
I hope Jacinta can continue to grow in her political career. She is proving to be everything we need in a leader of our country, someone who genuinely wants to bring unity, a multi-faceted human race, all Australian, equal rights, equal opportunity, equal choices and zero discrimination, and someone who has the ticker to stand up for what’s right and fair, what is moral not what is popular. I’m proud that we have such a strong intelligent Australian standing up for a peaceful Australia.
l am really really sorry that Jacinta has to go through this treatment for all of us Australians no matter what colour you are l hope Jacinta knows that she is appreciated for everything she does and for who she is thankyou Dave for everything you have done and do
He is right, where I live, we constantly have aboriginal women coming in to our business hiding from abusive partners begging us to call the police. The abuse of women and children by aboriginal men is the problem no one wants to talk about. Funny thing is we have tourists from the cities who are terrified when they are exposed to this behaviour, yet these are the people who when poled are the ones voting yes. Spend a day in my Town before voting and tell me how a voice to parliament will fix this.
@@gregwaghorn8496 The civilised people that are flooding the Yes campaign centres, and use vile abuse on innocent people at the end of the phoneline or answering emails? or becoming aggressive when they see someone handing out pamphlets for the Yes campaign - then openly start intimidating and abusing, when nothing has been said to them?
Pure gold conversation with Jacinta's dad on Voice and other related matters, showing just how removed from any workable reality the Albanese tribe is positioned.
No wonder Jacinta is such a well balanced lady as she has been raised by parents who obviously love each other and their children.Jacinta is going to be a wonderful lady Prime Minister because she accepts all Australian people as being ONE.
This is what an Australian of the Year looks like, humble, honest and caring. Not a political or social Advocate. Its NOT ok to be offended on someone elses behalf. That is apprpriation..
It is vile and disgraceful...but she is not the only one copping it. Most Aboriginal people have been copping it. Linda Burney has been the subject to vile abuse, probably from the same people out-raged over how Jacinta has been targeted. They have no knowledge of her but are quick to write vile things about her. Being on anti-voice threads you would have seen it, either skip past it or 'maybe' had a joke over it, and that in-turn condones it. You can't say most of the abuse comes from the left because more times than not, as soon as someone says they support the voice - they are either (or all) ridiculed, barraged with slurs, and abused. Wow the abuse for allowing the song 'You're the Voice' to be used by John Farnham, calling him a cop-out and a traitor. He is the same person that got up at the Fire Fight Concert raising funds for people affected by the bushfires. He has raised a lot of money for good causes around Australia for Australians, but he has now become unworthy to some as an Australian because of his support of the Voice. There are people that are ringing and emailing 'Yes campaign centres', and abusing innocent people at the end of the phone, Yes campaigners quietly handing out leaflets being aggressively abused in the streets by people who think they have the right to abuse people because of a different view on this issue. No wonder things are going to 💩
Wow! Dave you and your wife should be so proud of what you have done. You are amazing people and Jacinta is a very special person. We are privileged to have her.
I’ve always had the greatest admiration for Jacinta! It’s so good to witness the strong family background that she comes from. Good on Dad for speaking up for his daughter - that’s a true Australian!
Dave Price you and your wife have been wonderful parents and raised a beautiful, caring, intelligent daughter who has her country and culture in her heart and is prepared to fight for our united Australian community! 😊
Sorry you have to go through it But you must be proud of your daughter Smart articulated level-headed progression, not regression Only wants to help others I'm with your daughter on this one These people using threatening language proves they have no valid reply Then, the only avenue they have left is threats Albo.should be ashamed, encouraging bullying name calling as he has to all no.votors himself So, as a no voter, when attacked, I take that as a win Due to they have no answers to questions
Brilliant interview and insight into an outstanding family. Hearing Jacinta speak in Perth at the launch of the NO campaign further cemented my support for her as an inspiring human being who should be considered for more leadership positions in the Coalition. Would I vote for her as a future Prime Minister? Absolutely!
Actually I think there are a lot, they just get on with it and have made our country great. A beautiful multicultural country, easy going, great sense of community, and when the going get tough, all pitch in. I'd hate for Albo to divide us and start racial division, there's just no place for it, none.
When the ABC ran a doco on violence against Aboriginal women, not once did their reporters, or anyone they interviewed, suggest the obvious; that Aboriginal men might be responsible for the awful crimes. The words 'Aboriginal men' were never spoken during the entire program. Why?
I just don’t understand the divide between white Australians and Aboriginals. When I was a kid we celebrated Lionel Rose and the aboriginal bush skills and finding lost persons in the bush just so much to be proud about. Breaks my heart to see what alcohol has done to them and the conditions some live in.
What a wonderful family ... full of love and support for each other .. I hope they know just how much we appreciate their stand on decency, democracy for all Australians .. we are so proud of this lovely family and we all stand with them .. really shows the left idiots up for who they really are ..
Thank you for speaking out, the great majority of all Australians respect Jacinta and Warren for the hard work you are doing for all of us, please don't let the crooked elites who are only interested in in how much money they can skim out of the system win, you both will make great prime ministers of Australia one day.
Yep, you're absolutely spot on. This is all about money. Prime Minister Jacinta Price. That's how we should show the world what reconciliation looks like. Not this divisive voice crap.
Well said Dave, it is terrible what they are doing to Jacinta and your Wife, Out of all the people involved I would give Jacinta my backing any day. I was in Darwin after the Cyclone in 1975 and I seen how the Aboriginal people were treated and the money that has been wasted and nothing constructive has come out of it. We need people like Jacinta that knows what and where to help instead of putting money into false Government representation. Congratulations and thankyou for speaking the truth and being a great Father and Husband
I have seen the vile disgusting comments directed against Jacinta, I only hope she withstands the hate, she stands up for what she believes in. Michael Mansell is right, I spent time in Tasmania, that was an eye opener. Many claiming to be Aboriginal aren’t, it’s funny what $$$ and special benefits will do.
What a lovely man! Dave, your story with Bess, brought a tear to my eye, lovely story. The vast majority of Australians LOVE Jacinta. Both of her parents are clearly very good people!
@@aaronfranklin6863 yes got forbid those original people got up off their azz and went to work instead of beating their women and pretending they had set up a thriving modern day metropolis that the English promptly destroyed

In aboriginal communities on the cape, pearson carries little weight, it's the kadia who seem to be enraptured with his high level language of entitlement. Real life beats political spin any day. Martial arts training for your daughter to keep her safe from violent Aborigines! Magic! No wonder she is such a strong woman and so brave, loving care from both parents from birth. Vote NO
Jacinta Nampijinpa Price is one of the few who can stand strong up against the vile abuse hurled at her by people who should know better. They are pathetic.
Jacinta and her family are great Australians and even better great aboriginal idols. Keep up the good fight for distancing the radicals out of discussions and real reform starts by facing some hard truth s and fixing the basics and gaining trust on both sides again ! Keep it Simple Treat others as you would want to be treated
Jacinta truly represents modern indigenous Australians: of mixed ethnicity, proud of her indigenous ancestry, and honest about the challenges they face in various settings. If you want truth telling, listen to what Jacinta wants to teach us.
Hi Dave Jacinta is such a genuine person and a strong advocate for betterment for Aboriginal people. You and Bess must be very proud of her. I am pleased Jacinta shows pride in both sides of her family. I think she and Warren are courageous.
What a lovely man Dave is! It is a tribute to you and Bess to have raised such a lovely, respectful, resilient woman Jacinta is. I have a lot of respect for those who don't use their heritage as a weapon against others. We don't need a Voice, we already have many people like Jacinta who can represent first nations tribal leaders. If only the Leadrrs listen to them. We are a diverse Nation who should learn to respect others and learn to live harmoniously. Jacinta is an example of how anyone can achieve their goals through a good education, determination and hard work.
Thanks and Respect for sharing so honestly, I think your daughter is very real, wise and strong. Australia needs MPs and senators with her honesty and strength. Go Jacinta,
What an amazing family! They have, and are proving that the Voice is dividing Australia. It's an obsolete and antiquated notion! Can't we all just accept each other without any predjudice? Colour has no barrier, underneath we all bleed the same red! We are all raised differently and sadly this is where the difference belongs. Let commonsense prevail!
