You have a point he does act kinda like bakura when he had the millennium ring but to be fair jack is a good guy bakura is also a good guy but with the ring he's neutral
Yes i'am a fan for the original version but it dosen't mean i can't judge the english VA-s. Even i who hate the dub still say that there is some good english voice in yugioh. Yugi, Kaiba or Pegasus. They are good. Pegasus is very similar to hes japanese voice. But this guy just horrible for jack.
@@SlyDoctorKH I mean a kind of Cockney British accent fits him, considering it's history of being associated with "lower-class" individuals IMO. That's what I meant. I do like how he also sounds like someone who's actively made himself sound more posh over the years, to fit in with the "big city" or whatever. Though that's more of a HC on my part however, haha. Agree to disagree on him sounding like a "joke" BTW.

it's not that you HAVE to, it's just that both are so different that it's inevitable that the majority of people would take sides, i personally like a lot his JAP voice and i don't like the ENG voice too much, but to me there is nothing wrong about liking his ENG voice or even both
@Laziness I think you are mistaking my message. I said this in response to the false dichotomy of either love and hate. It's not meant to be literal, I already know that it is not both extremes. This was more so for the people that do believe that you must pick one side.
Seeing his Manga and Anime card counterpart really shows the different between both character Jack manga card: Star and Constellation related Jack anime card: Resonator (x99), Assault mode (x30), random ugly archfiend RDA Manga: Became more and more archfiend-like with each evolution RDA anime: Became more and more Dragon-like with each evolution
Usually I like the English voices more. Dan Green dis a good job on voicing Yami Yugi and also Seto Kaiba and many other characters sound good. Jack on the other hand not so much, I mean he almost sounds exactly like Bakura
@@CRASHjester i know and his voice isnt bad at all in fact it fits bakura perfectly (a lot better than his japanese voice IMO) its just it doesnt fit a character like Jack at all. I expected a voice similar to Seto Kaiba or Zane, something more douchey but still manly
Solid Zack I thought it fit him fine. When I first watched the anime, I was surprised that Jack had that voice, but I didn't outright hate it like most everybody in the comments. Heck, I enjoyed it. I prefer dub Jack.
He has 3 basic ace Red dragon archfiend in 5ds anime Hot red dragon archfiend in 5ds manga And red dragon archfiend scarlight in arc V That are his basic Ace monsters basic forms
