May was ah-MAY-zing! The clarity was mesmerizing most of the month. Be on the lookout for the nurse with a mouth full, amberjack which bit off more than it can chew, a speedy octopus coming at you like a torpedo, a nighttime crab that comes back repeatedly to catch the blenny (very Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner like), a merry-go-round blenny, “Where’s Waldo” moonfish, itchy shark, frisky fishies, and so many more great shots.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Greetings, fellow ocean lovers! As DFB Fish we are proud residents of the beautiful and vast world beneath the waves. We want to remind you of our shared responsibility to protect and preserve our ocean home. The ocean is not just our home, it’s a critical part of the Earth's ecosystem that sustains all life on our planet. Unfortunately, human activities such as pollution, overfishing, and climate change have put the health of the ocean at risk. I urge all of you to do your part to protect the ocean. This can be as simple as properly disposing of trash, reducing plastic use, and supporting sustainable fishing practices.
I am grateful for the love and support we receive from humans who appreciate the ocean's beauty and bounty. But it's time to take it up a notch and take responsibility for protecting and preserving our ocean. Let's make a commitment to take actions that support a healthy ocean ecosystem, not only for ourselves but for all the creatures that call it home and for the generations of humans to come. Thank you for watching!
