I'm also a John who goes by Jack, and brother let me assure you, I feel your check cashing pain. I had a lawn mowing business in the late 90s and had so much trouble getting people to consistently put my real name on the checks (anyone else remember getting paid almost exclusively with personal checks? Pepperidge Farms remembers...) that I had to formally petition the bank to allow my nickname to be added in as an acceptable check title. Awesome debut special, if you're this funny now I can't wait to see how you grow and mature into an even better comedian. May your dream of immortality via disease naming come true!
Watching this ....again..... I noticed that you have 'it' --> comedic timing. That is VERY important that comedians NEED.....but, many do not have. Their delivery is way too fast and the audience is 'lost' in the story. YOU -- have that 'timing' that -- pace, pause, and rhythm --- when you tell your 'stories'. Keep up the great works.
