Fun fact: Jack Benny did this skit on a later show, after Bob Crosby replaced Phil Harris. The gags were slightly rearranged, and Dennis Day sang "Because you're mine". The biggest difference I noticed is, in the later version, after Dennis says "if my girl reads that, she'll slap my face!" Jack responds with "Dennis, UNFORTUNATELY nobody's gonna slap your face!" 😂😂

I love the hair jokes! Mary tells Jack to “stop running your fingers through your hair just put it on!” 😂
