I love the story of a self made man rising up to prominence then betrayed by those he trusted.... and the brutally taking back his empire and being mildly unhinged .

Honestly, this guy is one of the great greats of business mascots, and unlike Mac Tonight, who got screwed over by edgy 4chan memes, Jack's still out here being a mildly sociopathic gigachad.

I kinda want to see a Jack Box TV or streaming series that’s in the same vain as the commercials. I think Jack’s character could really work in that kind of format.

Jack is amazing, truly just came in at the wrong time, in today’s social climate he absolutely thrives as a meme prodigy. I never ate at Jack in the Box but I do remember watching some ads as a kid. One that I remember is one where Jack’s visiting his gf’s/wife’s(?) parents and the dad doesn’t approve of the relationship because he doesn’t like Jack in the Box’s food, particularly the curly fries.

Honestly, hearing they're open 24 hours a day makes me wish we had Jack in the Boxes around me.

Fun fact: Jack in The Box actually attempted a landing in Brazil during the 70's, the brand was first controlled by Purina (Yes, the dog food brand) before they were bought by Nestlé... And no joke, they were successful for a little while but died in 1988. Reason? Mc Donald's expansion was very damn aggressive, so Jack just sold off their restaurants to a local franchise called Bob's. Bob's still is a thing today, but their call to fame is less being cheap and more the milkshakes and ice cream treats.

Didn't Jack vanish around the time car antennas vanished? I remember grocery store parking lots were a sea of Jack heads on poles, & by the time I noticed car antenna were becoming scarce, Jack himself had gone.

I love Jack as a character. While I haven't eaten at Jack and the Box that much (aside from once or twice), the commercials starring him are some of the best advertisements of all time.
