Even with the shifts in time signature, Jack plays so confidently. Such a world class musician and live performer. And the voice is just powerful and unique.

Billy Cobham on drums, David Sancious on one guitar, Clem Clempson on the other. David Sancious went on to play keyboard for Sting and Peter Gabriel. Clem plays the blistering solo on Jon Anderson's 'Olympia' from his solo album 'Animation'.

Wow wow wow! This performance is just phenomenal! The dueling guitar solos, jack’s vocal and bass riffs, and of course Billy’s mastery. The quality of this recording is also just another treat. These channel releases are just #1 every time! Thank you so much for keeping these memories alive in the 21st century!

A lively version FOR SURE! Just love Jack’s improvisation from 2:23 and onward, with a tight time lock over all changes of the 12 bar groove. And interlocking -with 2 screaming lead guitars in unison solos. The drummer creates leading offbeat lines that match how Jack sings the lyrics and that drum awareness locks into the bass fills, accenting Jack’s improvisation. Very good, thanks for posting this one.

Oh man this whole concert is incredible. I've seen and listened to a lot of Jack but I'm seeing this one for the first time. What a band! And Jack's vocals are off the scale!

I was fortunate to see one of my original bass heroes, Jack Bruce, perform live twice, both times at clubs, from closeup. This band (Jack Bruce & Friends), Dec. 1980, at Toad's Place, New Haven, CT, with Billy Cobham on 🥁 (The GoAT). Also, around October 1976 (I think), I saw the Jack Bruce Band that was later featured on the album "How's Tricks?", at Shaboo Inn, Willimantic, CT, with the amazing young phenom Simon Phillips on 🥁... Jack, we miss ya. 🎸🎻 🎹 🎤🖤

Absolute legend! There was no need to be a "punk" to talk about politics. A gentleman taking the charge for those too busy with their hairdos at that time. Also, must have been a little too dangerous to play a song like that all dressed up in red... The advantages of being a true gray, and not giving a "F" about what they're gonna do about.
