Pep was right.. that's why he's one of my favourite players.. he's amazing when touching the ball and dribbling to build the attacks line also great for creating chances 👌👍👍👍
@@menkapandey1081ur a clown if u think that the guy as an attacker was bought for the price he was bought for if he isn’t a goal scorer or someone impressive why that peice tag for a mediocre performance lol werghost should probably be 100mil
@@menkapandey1081 learn to write bs bro I ain’t writing any letter this is a RU-vid short and what I’m saying is irrespective of what you guys say or try to comfort yourselves with grealish performance is mediocre especially for his price tag 100mil he should be worth 50 at best and u said Ronaldo fans bro Ronaldo leaves rent free in your head I get you his the goat 🐐 but he has absolutely nothing to do with this video you Messi rider
Many people didn't see this part of grealish. That might be the reason why pep signed him. Like what pep said before, they signed him up not for scoring goals and assists but became a part of the key role for building up and clearing the path for his teammates to attack. He's now a system player. Unlike the time when he's in Aston Villa where he has freedom to move freely without any restrictions.
Something about pep is he likes very technically gifted passers on the wings to help create chances in the box. Grealish is not selfish and I’ve seen him involved in some amazing team goals. Not a waste of money at all
No, he wasn't playing well last season. He was always passing back. Didn't shoot enough. Didn't show enough courage to get in the box. Even Real Madrid scored the goal in the semi-final last season due to Grealish. He didn't show enough determination to close down the cross. He showed laziness and Man City had to pay the price.
@@tanishkandivlikaryes he passed back but he pulled multiple defenders at the same time. That's what pep assigned him for, he cleared the path for his teammate to score the goals.
Exactly that's why he was so crucial for us and worth so much more then 100 million to us as he did everything he helped defend helped to carry the ball up to create chances he's got a good strike on him and decent passing. Honestly I feel like we've been had as a 100 million is far too low
What has football become how tf is he worth 100 million like yes he’s a good player who’s helped but he shouldn’t be worth 100 million mad yous don’t realise how much money you spend as yous have heeps of it
@@theinternetclipz he's worth way more then 100 million fella and we spend alot as we gain alot it's not our fault we're good marketers. It's nothing special really LaLiga could of tried to do it but we're the most watched league in the world fella that gains alot of money. Meaning we can charge more and so on. Btw we're one of the only Leagues if not the only league to give some of that profit down the pyramid you don't see Barca and Real do any of that and they sign players for big money aswell like Coutinho to Barca or Cristiano to Real or any Galaticos. Don't be jealous of us being good at what we do
Many people didn't see that he can pull multiple defenders away from his teammates. That might be the reason why pep signed him. Like what pep said before, they signed him up not for scoring goals and assists but became a part of key role for building up and clearing the path for his teammates to attack. He's now a system player. Unlike the time when he's in Aston Villa where he has freedom to move freely without any restrictions.
Very arrogant comment. What qualifications do you have to show that you understand more than a person that values goals and assists? While I get the sentiment, if an attacking midfielder who cost 100 million isnt playing well enough then he is open to criticism. Rate Grealish or not, he has not lived up to the price tag. He hasnt even come close.
People wanna look at players to score more goals but they don’t want to see them to assist, dribble and doing skills even if they don’t score many score-(my damn quote)
Jack Grealish is rlly kind person and great player and my favorite city player as a city fan and for my personal safety against Haaland fans Haaland is my second favorite
you need to look at it as a whole when he plays, one of the most important things about Jack for Pep Guardiola is that Jack is able to break down conditions when Man City is under pressure from opponents, and also a counter attack, Jack has good ball control. and also a good understanding of being able to make the opponent's pressing useless when the ball is at his feet. it is very difficult to get the ball from the jack, it really helps teammates to find new positions / transitions to attack schemes. his hard work in defense is also very good, this is what has made Nathan Ake able to play comfortably since playing as a left back
Agree with this. Grealish is a phenomenal player. His ability to hold the ball and retain possession is second to none. He's up there with the best dribblers I've ever seen and he allows city to transition with ease and sustain attacks. His positional awareness is also quality, and he's more than comfortable dropping into midfield and creating overloads and space for other players. People criticise him for his low goal/assist numbers, and yes his finishing could improve, but it's such a lazy criticism. Grealish is often the player that does the work in creating the chance in the first place - before passing to the next player who then gets the assist. He's the guy before the guy, if that makes sense. He's world class at what he does.
I dont watch football much but I do love to play it and its annoying how every player’s value nowadays is tied to numbers and not actually watching them play and think “this guy played so good this season/game”
Pep has based a lot of his Jacks game and his new attributes to an Andres iniesta type role like when he managed barca. Pep the genius seeing a whole new side to his game others didn’t.
The goals and assists are already coming for sure but folk also miss his amazing hard work ethic, pressing and tracking back as he did v Liverpool (Salah) contributing to that awesome 4-1 win
He is a good player, works hard, good dribbler but man you need that final pass. Sometimes he dribbles more than needed , misses the opening and has to pass back.
Pep is smarter than the majority of football fans, many think it's only about goal contribuions but the lead up to the goals are made by players like Grealish
As a Villa fan what people don't realise is that his ability to pick the ball up and drive forward pushes the defensive line backwards, that's what he does, he makes the defence play deeper, he draws 1 or 2 even 3 defenders in to the ball then releases it really late putting team mates in space in a better position, villas problem was we never got a proper 10 to play alongside him to pass to, city's problem is they've neutered him, no longer takes defenders on, he drives forward 10 yards then passes, England should have the balance to get the best of him but Southgate is a clown
Jack is willing to take on defenders. The man is confident I'm his ability to dribble. He also doesn't get discouraged. Sane and Sterling had a tendency to get discouraged and stopped trying.
