I am absolutely in love with this song. The melody, the lyrics are perfection and you both have such beautiful angelic voices. I know it’s a heartbreak/love song but I couldn’t help my tears as it made me think of both my parents who have passed. The chorus tugs at my heart especially. “Kuv twb xav tias yuav tshav ntuj nrig, ua cas hnub no yuav tsaus ua luaj” depicts how dark and lonely my world has been without my parents. There’s a constant void and longing for them that can never be filled. “Xav tias wb txoj kev hlub yuav mus ib txhis, xav qhia rau koj kuv thov txim” depicts how I never imagined I would lose the both of them so soon and how I always thought I’d see them grow old celebrating each of life’s milestone with me. And how I have lived with guilt every day wishing I could have done more to help my parents live longer. For that, I am sorry. Thank you Jack and Vicky for this song.
