I'm a pretty casual fan, so maybe I'm missing something, but Jim Cornette is one of the guys in the business that I could listen to for hours. In shoot interviews at least, he has more charisma than practically anyone I can think of

What surprised me the most in this interview was the quality of the questions asked. As in very excellent questions! Also, Jim Cornette is in my opinion the greatest mind in the history of the wrestling industry and I'm not just saying that because I agree with 98% of everything he says. I hope this weekend leads to signing him on full time. They need someone like him to butt heads with some of the higher ups. It would be better for business than just having a bunch of yes men hanging around collecting a paycheck.

You can tell Cornette is born and bred for promos. He does the stereotypical "address the camera" every few seconds when he's talking, the man is made for this kind of stuff.

say what you want about Jim Cornette but he's a hell of a talker. Whenever he talks, you listen. Very underappreciated as a manager and even more so as an announcer.

The way that Jim is ripping into Jack in the beginning...that's the playful "family uncle" style he reserves for people he respects. I don't know what you did, Jack, but you must have made an impression on him...or maybe that's just a reflection for his respect for the WhatCulture brand as a whole...either way. Kudos!

That interview was like watching Ric Flair put on a match with the Gobbledy Gooker. Jim Cornette could make reading a recipe garner heat.

Jim Cornette brings the Cajun spice to any bland interview to make it so, so entertaining. What a great guy. Could probably be rough around the edges, but who isn't in the wrestling industry (for as long as he's been in it)? Vince is the big dummy jock who does shit in class but does great in sports. Vinnie doesn't rub any of the other students or staff the wrong way, so they keep coasting him through despite his poor learning abilities (re: terrible booking and horrible storylines, yet people keep buying tickets to live events). Cornette, however, is like Sergey Brin, Mark Zuckerberg, or even Bill Gates. Starting off small, fine-tuning his skills with smaller promotions and business, he eventually is able to make extremely nuanced observations about what is going to do better or worse based on what the masses want, and he eventually employs a team of people to deliver it. No big loss on the small scale if something doesn't work out, but when you get your golden egg, the pay out is huge.
