I agree that there are so many things singers could learn from Jack Jones! There's quality and so much ability for so many styles that he has performed in his life. He is the only singer that has touched in so many ways and styles of music!! Bless his heart and how he coveys his feelings!! Love him!! 🎼🎵🎶🎼🎵🎶❤💋
As good a performance as you're ever likely to see from a singer of his type. Softness, feeling, tenderness, power, volume and vocal range all presented perfectly in this lovely song.
What an artist, he has to be , one of the greatest ever, ride on Jack, we all love your music, just remember what you told me at the Derngate Theatre in Northampton UK, back in the 80's, I'll be there , if you are, we'll I am, & so are you, so we have at least kept our promises, just all a little older, eh , hombre, it happens to us all amigo, you have nothing too prove my friend, you have provided your followers, with wonderful music, for 50years, for which , we offer our heartfelt thanks. Stay safe my friend,& let us both enjoy the rest of our lives. The. TJR of the Canary Islands 🇮🇨 🏝 😍 👌
Great moments along the way but this is the finished product of a lifetime of joyful labor , no sooner you arrive and it slips away...it’s all about the journey not the payoff, that said the payoff was masterful.
Couldn't agree more, he's the master. He knows how to use that wonderful voice, to build it then pull back. This is what young singers should learn from, how to really put a lyric across properly, it's sad not many can do it these days.
I looked up the lyrics to this song, and it said "James Ingram Lyrics" -- but the words are the same as Jack Jones is singing. So whose lyrics are these really? Jack Jones said it was Barry Mann's song, but Jack sings it and it's lovely, no matter who wrote it.
