Honestly I could watch just 1:05 to 1:10 for an hour. I watched it back 7 times as it is. These actors were truly incredible. The INTIMACY IN THAT LOOK-- Okay, *this* is why I ship Jack and Kate over Sawyer and Kate. God knows, I love Sawyer, and I also loved his and Kate's chemistry! But throughout this series, she needed a rock, and someone to pull her up out of herself and lead her to be better. Sawyer couldn't do that for her, they were too alike. They found relatability in each other, but not *reliability.* They related through being mistrusting and shifty, with misunderstood criminal pasts. They couldn't give true stability to each other, or inspire each other to **be more** and **reach higher standards.** Jack did that for Kate. But in such a healthy way that she didn't drag him down. And SHE taught HIM that you can't consider yourself unworthy and unlovable just because of a lifetime of perfectionism being bred into you, forcing you to look at your past mistakes as unredeemable. They were GOOD for each other, in so many ways. And they both NEEDED that soft stability that's there for you no matter what.
