I agree that Mary's death wasn't his fault entirely, I think people forget that it happened because he lost control of his anger and stress, and I think people don't take into account that Mary knew how powerful he was and knew that getting this close to him would put her in danger. He was obviously losing control and she got up in his face in the middle of an attack. It's no surprise that she died. This may be an unpopular opinion here, but I bet that even if he'd still had his soul it still would have happened at some point. With all the shit he's been through of course he would have probably exploded from a regular panic attack, and with his power, it would be just as bad I assume, he could have accidentally killed anyone that got in his way, soulless or not.

Dylan Cole Jack didn’t mean to kill Mary. He just wanted his space and she kept getting in his way, and I blame Mary for that because she could’ve just left him alone but instead kept bothering him. So therefore it’s mostly her fault and she got herself killed because she wouldn’t leave Jack alone when he asked.

Luke very true but it is on her and god in my opinion everything jack did I blame on god he created this he even used lucifer to make a son that is why in the end all the archangels get brought back to life well at least lucifer and Gabriel so they can team up with Sam and dean and cas as well as jack to put a stop to god which I have a feeling lucifer won’t help daddy or save him since despite everything he does care jack in his own weird way so god killing him without any reason, god has done some horrible things to lucifer and Micheal I understand why lucifer is what he is not to mention how cruel god was to him in the sense of when they were trying reconnect when lucifer was in castiel’s body they managed to fix it and then god rips away it away from lucifer just because he could now that is bad

Mary always does stupid things.... Makes a deal - dies - Sam feel guilty and lost a girlfriend because of her deal, she starts working with the British men of letters - someone dies - Sam and Dean feel gulty, she won't leave Jack alone for one second - he gets angry and kill her - Jack feels guilty... Did she ever done something right?? The whole time she was there, she was constantly doing something behind Sam and Deans back... I don't even know why she was brought back in the first place...

@@tamarasimic3153 Exactly! Mary never did anything right. She didn't just do stupid things all the time, she did selfish things all the time. She's the most selfish character on the show, along with Chuck, both of whom are the worst parents ever! Let's not forget that Mary's stupid selfish arrogant actions directly lead to the apocalypse TWICE, only the second one is a MUCH bigger one that started MUCH faster. But I know why she was brought back, to help the boys finally deal with the anger stemming from her that they had buried their whole lives, and show the ugly reality of a toxic neglectful mother and how she can end up hurting her children more than anyone, cause contrary to popular belief, not all mothers are good and loving, some of them are the biggest villains, blood isn't everything. The writers wanted to show that and they did a great job since if you watch carefully, they knew EXACTLY what they were doing with her selfish cold behavior and neglectful patterns with Sam, Dean, and Jack throughout.

Sam and Dean were angry and always carried the pain of never having mother with them, and loosing a father because of her, especially Sam who never knew her, and now that they had her back, I think that at some point they saw who she really is, and that hurt them more just because they imagined she would be different, and in their mind, she was.. You remember that scene where Mary called Sam to "talk to him" but actually her plan was to recrute them to work with the British men of letters, first Sam because he wasn't as angry at her as Dean was.. She played them more than they were played by some villains. And that time they were in an apocalypse world, she said she won't leave those people,even though she knew that Sam and Dean risked everything to go there and save her, she was going to stay there because of what?? She was their mother but she was never a mother they deserved, and I don't think she loved them as much as they loved her. She gave birth to them and for her that's the only connection with them. She didn't know how to be a mother, she wanted to be in charge and she thought they would follow her wherever she goes cause they missed her but she never knew them. She didn't know their stories, and their past. Writers did an amazing job in showing how some things you can't change no matter how much you try to.. She was selfish when she made that deal, yes it was to save John but still, she was selfish when she was brought back, and that's it, there's nothing you can do to change that.. She needed time, and she went to work with the British men of letters. I have so many things to say about her that won't fit here... I just never liked her... "Family doesn't end with blood." is something that's really showing here, Sam and Dean had and still have better family that they never knew will always be there for them, such as Crowley, Rowena and in my opinion even Katch was better than Mary... And that time when Chuck offered to bring her back, I think that Dean sad no because he doesn't want to lose her again but also it had to do something with her actions... If he brought her back then, she would probably do something stupid again, or that she would leave them, AGAIN... I keep saying again, but those are things that she just keeps on doing..

That's true, except I think comparing this to Sams situation is a bit of a stretch. Jack actually killed Mary because he got too close to him during an outburst. Sam was too young to comprehend his situation and didn't kill his own mother, the demon did. But yes, Mary's first death was her fault and the demon blood was her fault as well. Jack has a right to feel guilty for Mary's death, because he actually did it, whether he knew what he was doing or not.

@@dylancole1910 Of course with Jack the situation is a lot more intense than it was with Sam since Jack's outburst literally killed her whereas Sam's part was just existing as the baby of the woman who essentially sold him to a demon, so naturally the guilt of her second death lands much more directly on Jack than the guilt of her first death landed on Sam, so Jack definitely has the right to feel guilty just like Sam. But my point is that Jack doesn't deserve the burden of this guilt as Mary is the one who caused his outburst in the first place, just like Sam didn't deserve the burden of his guilt as Mary is the one who invited Azazel into their house to let him poison Sam with his blood. The fact that she made that deal without knowing the terms to it was absolutely reckless, just like pounding on Jack constantly even when he told her to leave him alone because she was literally hurting him by not giving him space, was also absolutely reckless, especially since she didn't stop to think why Jack killed Nick in the first place and the consequences of leaving him alive just like she didn't stop to think of why Azazel offered her that deal in the first place or the consequences of making it. There is a clear parallel between Sam and Jack's situations despite being a little different and this parallel points to Mary's recklessness being a pattern since she's caused so much pain and death for so many others too.
